The location is excellent. We were conveniently within only a few minutes of a large number of restaurants and shopping. Even during move-in days (with LOTS of traffic and ancillary activity), we were on the OU campus within 10 minutes. The very low cost at the time of our stay may have been the cheapest in Athens. Our room was adequately clean and comfortable.

There is good reason this facility doesn't command the premium $$ some others in the area do. Although our room was clean and comfortable enough for us (we quite literally only slept and showered our 2 nights there...spending the daylight hours out and about), it is rather dated. The walls, furniture, bathroom fixtures, tv remote, etc. do need some repairs or replacement. Though there was nothing egregious, I'm certain some people would be rather disappointed.

Check in was a breeze. Staff were very polite. Room was better than I expected. Bed was comfy. And room service was always on time and mindful of my stuff. Way better experience than I expected. Will definitely stay there again, if I’m in the area and need accommodations.

Absolute cut rate price. Directly across the street from tractor supply. Just down the street from every fast food joint in town. Easy access to both route 33 and 50. The air conditioner worked and was COLD!!!

1960's vintage decor. Owner or desk clerk EXTREMELY covid conscious. Barely opened sliding window 2 inches to insert my credit card. Room could have been cleaned better. It was a place where I had concerns about bedbugs but no issues. The motel apparently had less than 10 guests each weekend night I stayed. This was on the weekend that students returned to OU so I found that odd. Would have anticipated that parents dropping their freshmen off would be staying in town.

no where on premises to buy water/pop etc. and no place to buy within walking distance. there places you could buy fountain pop if that is what you drink

I thought the lady who checked us in was very helpful, as we arrived a little early. She gave me a call on my cell when the room was ready, and that was much appreciated. The room was very clean.

Sometimes I had to play around with the key card to get it to work, but I'm a pretty patient person. Someone who isn't patient may have a megaton if that happens!

The room was clean and the staff was very friendly, good value for the money.

The bathroom light wasn't working, we,had to reset it a few times.

Location near the main businesses

There were some things that could use updating and fixing.It was ok

Good value. Convenient to shopping and restaurants and campus. Room was clean.

Building is older so rooms could use a face-lift.

Overall a great value for the price.

The door has a deadbolt and hotel lock, but still isn't the most secure. It can be moved quite a bit while locked which doesn't make me feel very safe.
