Homewood Suites by Hilton Cleveland/Sheffield

The hotel was very clean and modern. The breakfast was great! We were surprised at how large the room was. We are always nervous with how the hotel will turn out and we were very pleasantly surprised. Would highly recommend.

The writing on the outside of the building was a little hard to see. The cleaning staff looked very unkempt. Would be better if they looked more professional if they are cleaning the facilities and will be around guests. The couple we saw had on sweatpants/joggers, a random t shirt, scraggly facial hair and the girl had long scraggly hair, would have been nice if they wore some sort of uniform, shaved and pulled their hair back.

The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and there was always plenty of food for breakfast and the eating area was kept nice and tidy.

The laundry machine and dryer only takes quarters so you need 10 quarters each to pay for the 2.50 charge. I asked for some change at the front desk but sometimes they don’t have enough in their cashier.

The location was good. The suite was laid out nicely with a lot of room.

Small pool and it stayed busy. Our room was clean, but overall the facility could have been cleaner.

The breakfast was great. Bacon and sausage were delicious. Loved the meat and cheese omelette. There is a very comfortable eating area to eat breakfast but we are in our room. We had a small dinner table in the kitchen. Room was cozy. Loved that there were two different thermostats in the room (one for bedroom and one for the main area and kitchen). I was excited to have a full fridge and freezer and the ability to cook if I wanted to. My son loved the pool 🏊‍♂️ and was swimming nearly every day. Grill was available for use, but we didn’t use it. If it wasn’t so humid outside we would have sat outside at night and used the fire 🔥 pit on the patio. If we were prepared we could have roasted s’mores. The little putting green in the back was nice and my husband and I putted a few holes ⛳️ (We brought our own putter and balls) the vending area was convenient when a cold water or soda was needed and easy to charge to your room. The staff was friendly and we would definitely stay there again.

Loved the outdoor patio and sitting area, but there was a lot of bird poop on the cushions. I’d like to suggest to have a netting above that will fix that problem…. But it didn’t deter me from sitting outside. You could use a pool towel to wipe off the bird poop. The sofa bed mattress cover was very dirty and I don’t want to guess what was on it 🤢. The staff was very helpful and expedient with getting us a clean one. The frying pan 🍳 way dirty with old crusty food and I had to rewash it with hot soap and water, it came clean and I was able to make chocolate chip pancakes 🥞 as planned. Staff seamed to be short staffed and my son often had to go to the front desk to get things we needed, like extra coffee cups for the coffee maker.

I came for some rest & my room was quiet, air conditioning worked great & room was just very cozy! I really don't want to leave!

The tub should shave something on it do you don't slide around. It's very slick while showering. I just took extra care but that may be a precaution you want to take! The shower curtain looks like it's been through WWIII! You may want to replace it!!!

Convenient location to visit Oberlin college and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The hotel is nice with newer equipment. The one-bedroom and kitchen are very convenient for families. The location is very easy to access and close to all amenities.

The floor, countertop and some of the cupboards were sticky. There was some visible dirt on the countertop and inside one cupboard. We also found a pair of socks belonging to a previous client in a corner, showing that cleaning was not thorough. There was too little cutlery and flatware (2 plates, 2 forks).

The rooms were extremely clean and welcoming. The lobby/elevators/common areas were clean, free of any dirt or unpleasant odors.

The trash outside was overflowing upon arrival. Our room’s freezer also had ice from the previous guest inside of it. The breakfast was pretty meager; something I’d expect from a very low budget motel. Left much to be desired, a clear opportunity to improve.

the staff was very accommodating to our large baseball family as we were there for a week playing in a state tournament!

some of the other customers weren’t as understanding to a group of 12 year old boys and younger siblings. No fault to the workers!

The location being so close to our family, breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

The pool and area around it could have been cleaner. Property in general could use a little more upkeep.

The room had all of the amenities we wanted. It was we'll designed.

The couch was uncomfortable to sit on. There were only down pillows on the bed. It would have been better to have 2pillows with more support.
