DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cleveland Downtown - Lakeside

The hostess, Tosha, was amazing. She made checking in fun and was very informative of restaurants and activities. The Shuttle was great and the driver, Carl, was also amazing! He was so funny and a pleasure to hangout with! He's a great driver too!!!

Everything was clean, and the staff was great. We felt the weekend room costs per night was a little on the high side. We were also shocked to pay for parking in the hotel garage.

Staff was OUTSTANDING!! Literally everyone was friendly and helpful. From shuttle driver to housekeeping and service staff.

Public areas and room could use a sprucing up. Elevators for example work great, but wall panels and floors could be updated. Rooms REALLY lacked electrical outlets and very dated and kind of boring. So need updating but still clean and utilitarian, except outlet issue.

The location of the hotel is great. The front desk staff were friendly and informative. The shuttle that picked us up after the baseball game is an added plus for sure. Walking distance from the RnR Hall of Fame and the lakefront. Would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel is a little expensive for what it is. If the price was a little lower, the experience would have been perfect.

Yes it was an old building but they have given it a real facelift! Everything was clean and smelled clean!! The entire hotel staff was friendly.

Well let’s face it the building was older but that’s why you’re not paying top dollar folks! Yes we paid to park in a covered attached garage but name a major city where you don’t pay to park!

the rooms were very clean and the lady at the front desk was very friendly and outgoing!

the Starbucks/cafe was very understaffed. The gentleman working was having a difficult time keeping up with the traffic and was very overwhelmed. It was very uncleanly and he was touching food with his bare hands. There definitely need to be more than one employee there during the morning rush.

The hotel was beautiful and the front desk ladies were very nice and helped with all of our needs. We had a jack and Jill room that was nice with having 2 families.

The room looked nice over-all but we found a pill on the floor. We had 2 toddlers with us and luckily neither of them found it first. One of the rooms we had had no toilet paper and the bathtub looked like it wasn't cleaned out. We asked the front desk ladies for a roll and also notified them of the pill found on the floor.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we asked questions.

The room was not "clean", when we pulled back the curtains to look out there were hand and "forehead" smudges/oils on the glass. The tub had some "dirty water" areas on the opposite end of the tub from the shower head, and the chairs had not been vacuumed, both the desk chair and the chair next to the bed had lint off clothing or towels, hair, (long hairs). The hallway between our room and the elevator had several areas of wallpaper peeling off the walls. I will say the excellent staff (and location) made up for any of those things.

The staff was friendly given how busy they were I expected someone to lose there cool but it was the exact opposite

I wasn't informed about the free parking only was told about the 25 dollar self parking. I understand that everyone wants to earn money but to not display all options available isn't fair to the customer

This staff went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, at home and special! I was there to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and discovered the beauty and interesting sites of Cleveland, Ohio. The room clean and comfortable. The hotel’s bar had good food and good drinks....nothing watered down! I highly recommend the Doubletree by Hilton in Cleveland, Ohio!!

Due to Covid, there was no daily room service. Understandable, but a bit of a drag. When I need something, staff responded and they let us know up front.

Right from the very start with the incomparable Latasha at the front desk, all the staff was wonderful and so very attentive. The amenities were great and the location unbeatable.

The patio could have been really nice but was in such disarray that it was not comfortable to sit there.
