Kimpton Schofield Hotel, an IHG Hotel

We were fortunate to be able to stay in the Van Gogh suite, that also happens to be a north facing corner room. My lord, these Kimpton Hotels are fantastic in their own right, but this room was a work of art. Every wall is graced with a mural by Vincent Van Gogh, inclusive of the bathroom that boasts an ultra wide double sink and a luxurious navy blue clawfoot tub within the confines of the stand up shower in a simple and elegant glass enclosure. Cannot express the feeling of staying in a suite like this. I just felt so lucky and appreciative. 100 percent recommend!

There literally was nothing I can possibly say that was negative.

The property was gorgeous. Truly a boutique hotel with all the fine details and furniture. The staff were exceptional! The general manager was amazing and helpful. Really loved the vibe.

The property is at a very noisy juncture in the city. Outside of our particular room was this company that had trucks backing up and doing something that required the most insane beeping/moving/crashing to get their job done. This went on at 4 and 6 in the morning and lasting for at least ten minutes each time. All four of us were woken up and couldn’t go back to sleep until the trucks left. It was not a restful night. The beds are nice though as well as the shower being one of the best ones I’ve experienced! Great water pressure and roomy bathroom.

Stayed there for the Draft. While it was very very busy, I never felt unsafe nor did I feel that it was overly packed. I felt as though my wife and I were the only ones staying there. The room was very clean and sanitized and it was very quiet for the amount of people who were there. We will truly be back at this property or another Kimpton property. Well done!

Fantastic King room with an generous walk in shower and a nice view. The bed was very comfortable and the free coffee in the lobby in the morning was quite delicious. Across the road is a posh supermarket which is handy. Also, it is an easy walk to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the NASA Glenn Visitor Center.

The hotel location, staff, The Betts for breakfast, the bed was so comfortable, bathroom, pillows were comfortable. The room size was more than adequate. Nice toiletries.

Our room, looking out windows in bedroom, on both sides had two buildings, and straight ahead of that was another building. Thus, the room was dark. Our friends complained also. I don't know what you can do about that, other than put in a ceiling light. Also, on the desk, I found no plugs. The only plugs were on nightstands.

Fantastic experience! The staff, from the hotel GM to the housekeeping (Taylor, I believe) were kind, present, thoughtful, and accommodating. The room was nice and clean, as well as common areas.

Very, very minor suggestion would be to have coffee makers in each room, as opposed to requesting them. not a big deal, since they put one in my room upon request. I would have preferred housekeeping each day automatically, but again, they were quick to respond when I needed something.

Rooms are cleaned very late in the afternoon; I missed day's cleaning because of this (I told the cleaner no; I wanted to rest). I don't really have any serious complaints. My view was of an airshaft, but I didn't book the room or even the location expecting a veiw.

The beds were very comfortable and the restaurant by the lobby was good to have since there isn't much in the way of breakfast options in downtown Cleveland.

The restaurant was overpriced and the service was slow. The Fitness centre was very small, and not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel. If two guests wanted to work out at the same time they'd have to fight over the equipment.

The bed was a little lumpy and there was no view to speak of unless you count bird pooped window seals.

The bathroom has a shower split between two vanities. Great concept if you have all the amenities on each side like tissues, trash can. I had to keep crossing through the shower area to throw trash out and nearly breaking my neck slipping on the slick wet marble from the shower.

The entire facility appeared to be maintained very well (neat & clean) with a fresh look. We had a very nice perspective view of the city streets below. We received a very quite night's sleep (we arrived late & were very tired). The restaurant accommodations were very nice. Breakfast was Great! The entire staff (hotel & restaurant) were very nice & accommodating.

1)The HVAC controls were not properly calibrated. The temperature was too sensitive. The range went from one Extreme "COLD" to another Extreme "HOT", with No Moderate range setting. Therefore, we chose to leave the setting on COLD, then bundle-up, in-order to survive. The front-desk was notified at check-out. 2)The fixed-glass shower wall did not extend far enough to keep the water-spray off the floor (even with the shower-head angled towards the back-wall).
