Stone Gables Inn

We loved everything about our stay at Stone Gables. My husband, son, and I stayed in the Tipton room which was perfectly sized for our little unit. I was in touch with Connie who was incredibly prompt in getting me the information I needed to access the room and was especially pleasant to chat with. The food and surrounding things to do were plentiful but the neighborhood we were in was quiet. I was sad we didn't get to explore more of the building and block, but we had a lovely stay right down to the premade futon that had already been pulled out and was ready for my son. All in all, it was a lovely stay that was too short. If we're in the area, we would absolutely stay again.

The Inn is in a quiet part of the city, but it's a quick walk to anything you could want. My husband and I stayed for a concert at Jacob's Pavillion and we were easily able to walk to and from. The room was clean and the jet tub was phenomenal. I loved that there were bottles of water in the common living area, without being charged $10 a bottle. The check in/check out process was incredibly simple, we didn't actually have to deal with anyone. Perfect for an introvert like me! The owner, Connie, texted me the morning of with a code to get into the building and another to get into our room. The private parking lot was gated and locked overnight, so I didn't have to worry about my car at all. Connie made sure we knew that her and her husband were available whenever we needed. I would love to come back sometime and stay longer.

Such a cute place. Our room had plenty of space to fit our family. Kcups for morning coffee and bottles of water were left in the common area. Which was a nice touch. There was a shared fridge and microwave right outside our door. Which was perfect. I only spoke with the owner by text. but she seems really nice and gave explicit instructions on how to enter the property. The property is very close to everything we were trying to see. If I'm ever that way again, I would consider staying again.

The only negatives I found were that you cannot adjust the ac. It was slightly warm in the room. but fans were provided, which helped. And the 3rd bed in our room was actually a leather futon. Which was quite hard to sleep on. I think a memory foam mattress topper would probably help with that. But everything else was great. I highly recommend.

Seamless remote check in and a very quiet home. Convenient parking and an amazing bagel place two blocks away. Minutes to dining and entertainment and walkable as well. Next time we will walk to 25th street one way and The Harp and Cleveland bagels the other way!

The comforter was too good! I was hot so had to get creative with the other (lighter) blanket in the middle of the night. The bed was too soft for my liking, but it was fine.

Historic home. Lovely rooms were tastefully decorated and well marked. Plenty of parking in a safe area. Loved the pillows ! The common area with the coffee maker was appreciated.

Could have used a night light in the bathroom as the room was nicely darkened. Really, that was all, place was great.

Stone Gables Inn is an absolutely beautiful property. We stayed in the Clary room, and our favorite feature of this room was the enormous jacuzzi tub! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location is perfect for anything near or in downtown Cleveland, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Very nice Hotel with an outstanding location in the middle of Ohio City. The host was very nice and responded fast and in time. Also the rooms were clean and comfy.

The equipment inside the rooms was lacking of some stuff like an adjustable AC

The bathtub in the bathroom was a jacuzzi. I was confused at first because there was no room key and I had to enter all the numbers, but as a result it was very convenient. The location in the residential area was very good, and I was able to spend a very quiet and relaxing time.

Nothing! I didn't dislike it. Speaking of which, it was a pity that breakfast was not included. I know it's unavoidable because of the corona, but I was happy if I had breakfast because it had a nice kitchen and dining room, so I could have a light meal.

Beautiful historic home. Our room had a nice sitting room adjacent, with coffee and bottled water. Parking was free and in a gated lot behind the house. Although there were a few other cars in the lot, we never saw or heard anyone else. Keypad doors made it easy to check in.

gorgeous home! The beds were super comfortable and the directions to the home were clear. We really enjoyed our accommodations and the location was perfect for where we needed to go! The water was also appreciated.

There were a ton of stairs! Not a big deal, but we were not expecting it.
