Red Roof Inn Columbus West - Hilliard

I've been here before, so I knew what to expect. There were a few minor issues in the room, but nothing that disrupted my stay.

The tub drain could use some drain cleaner The ceiling light needs to be fixed The security bolt was missing The AC unit made noise when running the fan on high.

Not far from Ohio stadium. Could have been a bit cleaner but overall not bad.

Cleaner and none of the house keepers could understand English at all. We had to translate on our phones.

There were MANY things to like!! The room was very clean. Lots and lots of outlets and charger port. We asked for, and received, extra coffee pods to have for the morning. There are TONS of places right near the hotel to get something to eat. Super quick access to the highway. It was super quiet despite the hotel being at capacity. Check out is at 11, unlike 10 at many other places.. Finally, and most importantly for me, the entire staff was super friendly, kind and helpful!! Especially Ms. Liz at the front desk!

Despite heavy curtains, the bright lights from the parking lot at night came through a narrow crack. This would have been bearable except the full length mirror was behind the entry door at the same side of the window where light came in. Thanks to the physics of light, the light reflected off the mirror and straight to the bed! It was like having a light on all night. While the bed was comfortable, the pillows were way too firm and full. Both my husband and I woke with horribly stiff necks and he NEVER gets neck pain. The only place to get ice or vending items was all the way back in the lobby.

Bed was comfortable and we slept well. We were on the first floor which was great! Very close to family we were visiting and many places to eat/shop

The staff is great!!! Very helpful!!!!

Check-in is at 3:00pm and I was there on time and had to wait an hour and a half to get my room that was reserved.

The front desk worker was very nice and helpful.

There was some splattered brown stains on the bathroom door and there was a large area on the bed that was sunken in and was not very comfortable because of this.

Very clean, not run down or dated furnishings or room features. Nicely done!

Only negative was a broken security latch on the door which was missing the part that swings over to prevent the door from opening more than an inch. The deadbolt on the regular door knob plate still functioned.

Very clean. Well-kept. Friendly front desk. All listed amenities were available.

TV in the bedroom did not work. Did not ask for help with it as I was only using the room to sleep. If my stay had been longer I would have asked for assistance!

I love the location for all I need, the price, and the staff. The hotel is decent, near the freeway, restaurants, and stores.

Cigarette smoke and loose toilet seat.

The front desk lady was very kind and very patient. In traveling the hotels that I travel, especially in Columbus,. This was the best stay that I have had in a while.
