Courtyard Newark Granville

This was one of the cleanest hotels that I have stayed in for a long time. Room was very nice. It is in a good location for me when I am in Newark. All the people who worked there were very nice and helpful.

The only problem was the noise from the neighboring businesses. Our room faced the McDonalds drive thru, so the noise began as soon as the drive thru opened. It's okay if you are an early riser. Some other reviews online complained about traffic noise from the freeway, so I guess noise must be a problem here no matter what room you are in.

The staff was very nice and helpful.Our bus was late,called ahead and Jordan said he would leave a note stating that we were still coming.Everythong was fine when we got to the hotel.This will be our Hotel when we return. Our daughter is at Denison University.

The only thing missing was breakfast,we had to purchase breakfast every morning and the rest of our meals,It became very expensive.

The common area of the hotel was clean and maintained well. The dresser was a bit worn, but the room was spacious and laid out well. We didn’t have time to even see the pool or gym as we were there for business and working long hours. Loved the sliding door for natural light and fresh air. Great location surrounded by many restaurants.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable for me, so the small couch ended up being my bed. Wish breakfast was included and that a microwave was in the room.

Like the location. We like to stay at Marriott's. The staff was good to work with. Loved having clean towels. Room was very clean.

The price of two drinks at the lounge/bar there was very pricey. I do wish they would carry more wines than what was offered. The staff should know more about wines.

Stayed here last year and noted how clean the room was. Exactly the same this year, cleanest hotel I've stayed in. Staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable, loved the pillows! Will stay here again when in Newark.

Place was renovated. Very clean, gas and restaurants near by, short drive to almost everything

We had 3 adults in a room. King bed and a pull out . With the bed out room was alittle small for 3 adults. Would recommend getting 2 rooms for more then 2 people in a room. Other then that nice place

The staff and housekeeping were super friendly. The facility was very clean and the housekeepers went above and beyond when they clean the rooms!

Beds were not very comfortable. Definitely a sore back.

the beds are in desperate need of replacement. Both queens in our room sunk to the springs and not just squeaked, but strained and sounded more rusty than anything. Very noisy and no support left.

I was surprised that a continental breakfast was not included with the stay. Most hotels of this type include breakfast. That was disappointing.

Pool was nice, gym was clean, and we had a pretty quiet stay. Short walk to a gas station for necessities and snacks, also right next to a McDonald’s! There was a mini fridge in the room which I love.

There wasn’t any plugs to charge my phone on both sides of the bed, it was only on one side. Also, there wasn’t a bath mat or anything outside of the shower and I was scared of slipping.
