Hampton Inn & Suites Wilmington

I liked how quiet it was and how well the ac worked. It was very nice and cool while I slept. The shower head had different settings and was able to get pretty hot. The lobby also smelled nice, and I noticed they had some cookies set out for people to take by the elevators. Which was very nice! The breakfast had what you expected a hotel breakfast to have along with a make your own waffle station. Everything looked clean and well managed. Nothing was ever out when I got there.

Maybe the bathroom needs updated around the shower fixtures. My hotel room shower looked like the sealing around the fixtures needed redone. But that is the only complaint I have. Everything else looked updated and clean!

I traveled with my adult child with special needs, who is wheelchair bound, as well as my aunt with limited mobility. The staff treated each of us with the utmost love and respect. We were treated like family and it was such a blessing! Sadly, we don't get to Wilmington a lot anymore, but just knowing there is such an amazing place for us to stay will be the deciding factor in the planning of our trips to Wilmington. Absolutely Amazing!

First of all we were in between Hampton Inn s traveling..we were staying in Springfield Ohio for two nights..then headed to Wilmington Ohio..I called Hampton Inn in Wilmington and talked to Wendy..she was able to have our suite ready at 12:30..instead of us waiting around until 3..our suite was wonderful..our whole stay was wonderful..thank you Wendy..you were our hero that day..we highly recommend this hotel..we plan on returning to visit family again!!!!!

Hotels, like other companies, should be aware of the "aging of America". Granted, we don't all have problems, but the ONE problem I had with anything in this hotel, was the height of the toilets. Even though BOTH of my knees have been replaced, I had a terrible time standing after using the toilet. I know, this effects women, far more than men but our knees, our backs and other joints are a significant problem. If you cannot replace the toilets with something higher, Add a "grab bar" to the right side of the toilet.

Very friendly staff, large clean room. The area behind the hotel where we could walk dogs (I was there for a dog show) was fantastic - plenty of grass and quite pretty.

The thermostat in my room didn't work - I did not report it as it was a minor inconvenience, so it is quite possible that it would have been taken care of if I asked.

My room was very clean and spacious. And the staff was very courteous.

The hotel is fantastic. This is the second time we have stayed here. My only complaint is when we stayed the first time back in 2018 there was a beautiful pond behind the hotel that is now a gravel pit with nasty run off water and trash in it 😭. That area behind the hotel is one of the reasons I chose to stay here again. Needless to say I was very disappointed to see the beautiful pond was no longer there. However the hotel and staff were still exceptional!!

Everything was great. Easy check-in, clean, comfortable, well stocked and spacious room. No issues with my dogs coming with me. Very quiet, well insulated hotel. Delicious breakfast. Nice area of town and grassy areas around the hotel to walk the dogs!

Would be great to have a dog clean up station in case airhead people (like me) forget to bring bags outside with them.

The room was so nice and clean and the jacuzzi was amazing pool was also amazing and wasn't over crowded we had a relaxing stay and with plenty of things to do within minutes of the hotel.

The breakfast. Could have been better sausage was a Lil under cooked.

I loved the fact that there was a real breakfast back, the staff was super friendly and kind. The room was super clean and nicely set up.

The pool was very dirty, my kid stepped on something in the pool itself. Would have loved an extra blanket or two, I love to snuggle down into blankets.
