The remodeled near 100yr old hotel is downtown and walking distance to several restaurants. The ambiance is charming with an ample lobby and market. There is a nice bar off the lobby and a new rooftop bar. Terra Restaurant next door for supper with a gourmet menu. Staff is attentive and room prices are reasonable.

The only negative is the through-wall heater/air conditioner is a bit noisy, but as a remodeling option it makes sense.

We were upgraded to the corner room at the top floor, which we loved. We also appreciated well stocked gym with the TRX and peloton bikes and nicely designed common areas. Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful.

A few minor things to note: it would be nice to have a rug in the bathroom covering the cold tile and upgrade the HVAC system - we turned it off at night, even though it was cold, because it was loud and blew the air right into the bed.

Breakfast was quite good and healthy and I enjoyed their selection. I loved the setup of the first floor with the central lobby with the bar on one side and the eating area and gift shop on the other. It had a nice homey feeling to it. Also enjoyed the tall windows bringing in the natural light. The bar was a good place to go as well and the beautiful bartender was so great. Location was good as well. Decent places to get food and drinks. Bed was comfortable and shower was awesome. Hot water instantly and good pressure.

It was a little noisy on the street when we got there, but died down in the evening.

Nice place ! Way to expensive! No tv channels which I can live with ! No breakfast but found Christine down the street so that was a plus ! For the money they could kerp the 24 hr coffee hot and full ! Every time I went to get coffee it was cold or empty ! Just a little thing but just something that makes u feel that they care ! I didn’t get that feeling just running a Business! Get all u can they won’t b back

Lots of things

The room were very clean and freshly nice. The property was comfortable and easy to navigate. Th rooftop bar was gorgeous. Central Oregon is dominated by rugged beauty of the desert and the Cascade Mountains - this property fits in perfectly, hearkening to the Old West-past, but with the outdoorsy, contemporary way this area is now enjoyed. We were very impressed.

Nothing

Staff is great. Cleanliness is perfect. Restaurant downstairs is lovely. The sheets and bedding were beautiful, but a warmer quilt would have been better.

Our room, 205, was cold and we couldn’t get the heat to work any warmer. Those windows REALLY need to be weatherized. The view was an ugly rooftop. The tv was impossible to figure out how to change channels and watch something.

Complimentary drink to take up to the 4th floor rooftop was a bonus and much appreciated. Also, complimentary coffee in the morning-We took coffee to the sunny rooftop area and chatted with another visiting couple. A pleasant time before we headed back on the road. The amenities were wonderful too in the bath.

We didn’t have any areas we felt were negative.

The hotel was very stylish and well appointed. Loved the rooftop bar with fire pits and blankets and the excellent coffee shop. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was nice and large.

The second floor room was a bit loud with noise from above, so I’d request a third floor room if I stay again.

Historic hotel in center of the old main street in Redmond. Good restaurants and bars close by. Rooftop deck would have been nice but there was a lot of wildfire smoke in the air (August 10, 2023) so we did not use it.

Air conditioner in room was very noisy. There was a puddle of water in the shower when we checked in. Hotel provided free coffee in reception was like colored hot water and the coffee shop in the lobby did not open till 7am.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. It’s charming and grand at the same time. I only wish we weren’t just passing through. I would have enjoyed spending more time in the common areas and my room as well as the street it was on.

There’s nothing to dislike. I was a little hesitant about parking but it was completely fine.
