Location was great, staff were friendly and helpful.

The pillows were old and not very comfortable. A few pillow cases were old and had threads hanging off them. There were marks on some pillow covers and on the sheet. There was hair on our sheet when we lifted the cover. There was hair on the shower floor when we arrived. It seems our room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. My concern with the marks on linen and hair on sheet was that they had not been changed when the room was cleaned before our arrival. The bar fridge froze all our water and food. Our lights were constantly flickering.

they have the best cheese and meat trays. cold beer and the fire pit to sit by at night. we have two Saint Bernards and we felt so welcomed at this beautiful quaint place. It also has a potty area in the back so convenient.

Everything was perfect.

Every aspect of this hotel was planned with purpose. We loved hanging out by the fire while the kids swam in the heated pool. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and the beds were comfortable. My kids loved the trundle bed option rather than sharing a full bed. The staff were also super accommodating and kind. Great beer options and the breakfast panini and waffles from the kitchen were delicious. The less than a minute walk to the beach was a bonus!

The remote for the tv was confusing, but wasn’t a big deal because we didn’t watch it much.

The beds were VERY comfortable. I loved the atmosphere. The fire pit was so fun and the pool was incredibly warm and it was super convenient to have the bar in the lobby. It was also the BEST location. Very close to everything.

The cement floors were difficult to clean up the sand. The bloody marys were also just ketchup and vodka. We also didn't quite understand the maid situation and had issues trying to get our room cleaned after 5 days visiting.

Everything about the facility was great. Beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean upon arrival.

The lobby decor and staff attitude was not very welcoming to me or my wife. I try to avoid providing patronage to businesses that express strong political leanings in any direction. I feel that this furthers the division in our nation and is not appropriate. I appreciate businesses that are welcoming to everybody.

The location was amazing. It was a minute walk to the beach and walking access to the best parts of town. I loved the room design and decor. It was functional and roomy. I also appreciated the concrete floors. With all the sand it was a practical design and easy to clean. The salt water heated pool was a plus! It is also very dog friendly!

Our TV remote did not work, which was an easy fix but not something we cared too much about. The shower pressure was close to nothing and the temperature did not get or stay very warm. It was more of an issue if the hotel was full.

They had one of the BEST showers I’ve ever tried at a hotel before! The bed was comfortable and the location was close to everything which was so convenient. They have wonderful bars and restaurants within walking distance and the beach was a few short steps away too! The staff was friendly and helpful :)

The AC unit was so LOUD. If you’re a light sleeper then it will definitely bother you but I got used to it after the first night. Also the lighting in the rooms are really bad and they could definitely use better lighting fixtures!

What a gem, 400 yards from the beach, and walking distance to Seaside restaurants, shops, As you check in, immediately to your left is a newly renovated quaint fire pit. The room decor is modern and cool. Room 12 had a rain forest shower head, step out and grab one of the white cotton bathrobes provided. The bed was huge, comfortable and the 2 comfortable chairs in the corner hugged a small round table. Coffee in the room was local and very good. The coffee pot is four cup rather than the normal hotel room 1.5 cup. The greatest treasure of the room was in the refrigerator. I couldn't believe my eyes, real 1/2 & 1/2 creamer cups. I loath the coffee packet wrapped in celophane with a plastic stir, 1 pink packet, 1 sugar packet and powered creamer. Such a small treasure, real cream just for me, cold, in the fridge, Excellent effort at ecofriendly. No individual shampoos, 2 glass glasses, not plastic cups.

The tv/cable/dvd remote is a nightmare. Honestly, we couldn't get the tv to turn off after we actually figured out how to change channels.

Love the aesthetic of this hotel, it’s minimal but very comfortable. Fun added amenities like the sauna and fire pit make the stay extra special. I also really appreciated the complementary tea selection (high quality loose leaf tea bags!) coffee and coco. the located is great, one block from the beach and a short walk to restaurants etc.

it’s an updated old motel so there are definitely some noise transference, we were on the ground level so we could hear all the footsteps from upstairs. But really that’s the only complaint, maybe just ask for an upstairs room when you book!

The location was great, one building was between us and the ocean and another building was between us and the Main Street which kept us perfectly close to everything but kept us at a good noise level. Walking distance to everything you need. The employees were super personable, treated us like humans not “numbers” and they seemed like people too, not robots who just clocked in for a paycheck. We were able to check out bikes and board games for free which gave it a “home away from home” vibe. The rooms were quaint but not too small, nothing too fancy but designed well and modern. The fire pit outside was great and super cute. Everything was kept clean. Easy to access. I was nervous this would be a hotel that only looked good in pictures but i was very impressed on arrival. I absolutely would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The doors to the rooms might not be hung right, they’re quite loud and take a bit of force to close properly. I could hear other people closing their doors over any sound within the room.
