Clean, super friendly staff. Breakfast is free and they have a pretty good selection. The accommodations were good. They had a fire pit outside as well and you’re able to roast s’mores, they have a salt water heated pool and hot tub, along with a fitness center. The staff were amazing!! So friendly and personable, even disassembled the trophies I had to bring to Hawai’i. Will definitely stay here every year that we come for competition at the convention center! Did I mention it so close to the convention center, literally just walking distance. The ambiance was very artsy and so chic. Very cozy and clean. They even offer fresh baked cookies daily!

The location is great. It is clean and quiet. The children loved the pool. The breakfasts were good.

I pre registered via a message to do just that. Yet when we arrived, I was asked for my photo ID. When I mentioned pre registration, and the obvious futility of that , which made me another uppity, my own words, tourist, then the issue was dropped. So where is the disconnect? I also had requested, pre arrival, one of the up sell s’mores package. Another clueless response. For the price point, I expect a little more attention to the details.

My family lives in Hammond/Astoria area and I visit the area from Miami about twice a year. I travel all the time for work and pleasure. Saltline is hands down the nicest hotel in the area. It is in an excellent location in Seaside, right off the beach, and a short drive to beautiful coastal hikes and adventure entertainment options. I love the clean, modern, and beachy decor and boutique hotel feel. All of the staff were friendly, warm, and welcoming. Nice indoor pool and large hot rub are very nice after long hikes. Great bathroom products. Balconies provide beach view or mountain view. Good coffee and free breakfast.

The breakfast was good, the corn grits were especially delightful. The decor and our suite were fantastic. We had two balconies and loads of room. Most of the staff were super friendly and we loved riding the free hotel bikes along the promenade. The kids loved the pool, the games in the lobby and the outdoor play area. This hotel was a hit with everyone!

The pull out sofa bed mattress was absolutely dreadful, like a sheet covering over metal springs. When we asked for the some assistance the man at the front desk was pre-tty surly about it. He did eventually get a roll away, but after that he refused to speak to us--I'm serious. So that was most unfortunate, however the great staff far out weighed Mr. Grumpy Pants.

The breakfast was amazing and had more options than I anticipated. It was a perfect walk from the beach back to the hotel even at night, it was well equipped with amazing, kind and funny staff. The room was very clean and even though we personally had the blinds closed the whole time, we did enjoy the window and having it open for a nice breeze. The beds were also VERY comfortable and the bathroom was huuuuge, absolutely loved staying here and it made my graduation road trip that much better.

The free breakfast was not bad but I wasn't overly impressed. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. I thought the towels were nice, clean and in good condition. My daughter enjoyed the swimming pool.

The room felt tiny. There was no dresser, so nowhere to put our clothes for 3 days. The TV really should be Internet compatible. The swimming pool area is small and lacking adequate space and comfortable seating. Bathrobes were advertised in the booking. Com listing but none provided.

Great hotel, good location, very attractive furnishings, modern but not over done, friendly staff, good breakfast. Safe, well lit parking and entrances. Clean, large room. We enjoyed the spa and pool. Nice terry bathrobes. We took in several activities and the location was very convenient.

No real complaints, although I received a black Friday special email and called to inquire about the discount and first was told I could get the rate and then no, as I booked through 3rd party, even though I hadn't paid for the room yet. Funny thing the hotel was fairly empty most of the weekend as it was the weekend after Thanksgiving.

The property is lovely and modern both inside and out. We arrived a early and fortunately our room was available before normal check in. The location is excellent, just two blocks from the main strip with all the shops and just a couple of blocks from the beach. The person who checked us in, although polite, did not acknowledge me when I entered the lobby, nor when I approached the front desk. The rest of the staff we encountered throughout our stay were absolutely delightful. The rooms were clean and spacious, the jetted tub was spotless and a treat to enjoy. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable, giving one of the best night's sleep. The toiletries were a nicer quality than most hotels. The salt water pool and hot tub were clean and inviting, with lockers available outside for your belongings. The lobby was warm and inviting with table games and a beautiful fireplace to enjoy on a cold day. Breakfast was a nice addition and the dining area was clean and well organized. Menu options included two kinds of waffles, bacon, eggs, breakfast potatoes, cereal, fruit, yogurt, muffins, breads and bagels for toasting, coffee, tea and juice. Loved this hotel and look forward to returning soon!

The only downside was the lack of greeting upon arrival and the lack of ocean view.

Location is great! We really enjoy the heated pool and hot tub. Its one of the main reasons we stay here. No other hotel has a heated salt water pool! I love the high end furnishings and style

We got put directly next door to the elevator. It was fine during the night but early in the morning, it was very loud. Every time the door to the elevator shut, it would slam shut. It woke me up early in the morning and I didn’t sleep well. A white noise machine would’ve help for rooms next to the elevator.

Very updated. Very clean. Good location. Excellent staff.

Really the only thing I didn’t like was that there was no adult hour for the pool or hot tub so both were full of kids at all hours. Thus I didn’t ever use the hot tub. Also the hotel was largely families with young children, which is something some travelers may not prefer (not a big deal for us, but I know some people prefer a quieter place).
