The units are adorable. I really like having a separate second bedroom and the beds had really nice linens and were extremely comfortable. I called the office, which is off site, two or three times and went by there once to pick some extra coffee and they were incredibly responsive and helpful. 10 stars for the office staff!

There was a fan in the main bedroom but the second bedroom did not have much air flow. I talked to the office about that and they were very appreciative of the information and were going to get fans for those bedrooms. Again, very responsive staff!

Everything! The room felt more like an apartment than a motel room. We loved the layout and it was clean and nicely kept. It was our baby girl’s first trip to the beach and it could not have been more perfect. Off street parking just a few feet from the door. Within walking distance of the beach, aquarium, and arcade (the three places we planned on going). We even walked to Safeway to get food to cook in the awesome kitchen.

We were unable to get the jets in the tub to work but Im sure it was user error. We did not mind at all or we would have called for proper instructions. Not really anything that we “didn’t like” but it was the only thing I could think of that was close.

The location is very close to the beach, but not packed in with the hotels. The floors were a little bit dirty, but not noticeable until after walking around barefoot for a while. Other than the floor, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff arranged for a bouquet that was 10/10 and provided good food/restaurant recommendations

Parking gets a little challenging when more units are filled. Getting the shower temperature adjusted takes a bit of trial and error, but once we had it dialed in, there was plenty of hot water

easy walking distance to beach and to the street with all the activities. beds were actually comfy and the pillows were great. the towels were nice. Happy we had a fan in our room. the complementary body wash/shampoo/conditioner smelled amazing. loved that there were kitchen utensils and everything you’d need to cook already there, including cooking spray and dish soap to wash. loved the contactless check in and check out..never spoke to anyone the whole time we were there! enough parking for all the guests. love that there were quiet hours listed on the rules page!!

there was a homeless person digging in the garbage on the property when we pulled up., made us a little nervous to park. there was a hair on a pillow and that pillow case smelled unwashed…could be that the last person just had a very strong smelling head and left there scent through a couple layers of pillow cases or it got missed when changing linens between customers. there was a bunch of garbage in our night stand drawer (the one next to the smelly pillow with the hair on it). no screens on a couple windows.

The room was good sized and decorated nicely. It was perfect for our family of four.

The floors in the room were really dirty. It is understandable that they get dirty as you come in but they were dirty when we arrived, to the point that it made your socks black. There was no broom or anything to help with the excessive dirt. I would recommend having a broom available in each unit and actually washing the floors before guests arrive.

Great value Large comfortable cottage. Big kitchen. Beautiful 1950's interior design. Loved the built-in cabinets. Tub and shower great. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. Comfortable bed! We both slept well. Would definitely return and recommend.

The bathroom floor was not cleaned. Water quality was poor. Not drinkable. Kitchen was lacking a pitcher. Silverware and knives need upgrades. No lock on basement door that leads to landing on otherside of unit 12. Living room carpet needs replacing.

This was a super cute cottage. It was VERY roomy with lots of space for the whole family. The kitchen was large with a gas stove. The cottage had a nice gas fireplace also. It was only a few blocks from the beach and easy walking to stores and dinning. The cottage was nicely decorated with a bedroom and pullout couch.

The kitchen was huge and had only the basics; 4 plates, bowls, ups etc. There was a toaster, Keurig, sharp knives and basic pots and pans. I DO plan on staying there in the future I would just pack our picnic basket which I keep with a few extra kitchen supplies (extra plates, bowls etc.) We put notice into the office that the dining chairs needed felt on the bottoms, the door hinges needed oil and the bathroom plug needed to be looked at....all minor everyday maintenance.

The room was clean and had a nice remodel. The location was great. I parked my car at the hotel and walked with my 4 year old everywhere. Only a few blocks from down town.

I would have preferred a better door key system other than a lock box. The key came with penalties if not stored in the lock box correctly. This is far from a deal breaker and I would recommend staying here.

The Beachside Inn is a super cute vintage Auto Court that js really close (within 2 blocks) of the beach. The rooms are simple and tasteful, and have most everything needed - except an Ice machine! ;)

The parking is best for small/midsize rigs. Full size trucks/SUVs will need to park on the roadside, in the Inns spaces. Only 1 car per room. A guest had 3 cars for 1 room that wrecked the available parking for others.

The location for this motel was great, about one block from the Promenade. We could walk to restaurants and shops easily. It is an older motel, but looks to be recently updated.

It stated in the description that it was not air conditioned which we did not think would be an issue, but it got a bit warm with only a fan. As it is ground level we were not comfortable leaving the windows open.
