The breakfast was new to us as this was not done when we were there 5 years ago. It was very enjoyable, and Marlene does a great job keeping things replenished and picking up dishes, etc. As a suggestion, the cloth napkins were a little pretentious for breakfast, and most hotel breakfast set ups have a place to put your dirty dishes making it easier for the staff. The food was very good, although a few changes to the daily menu would be nice for those guests staying more than one night. The managers were very diligent in making sure things were running smoothly throughout the hotel.

An exhaust fan in the bathroom would be nice.

The hotel itself was nice and the staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. It was a great value and had good specials at the bar.

There is not much in the immediate surrounding areas. The hotel identifies as pet friendly but that only applies to dogs, which I only found out by calling. Not all of the staff were aware that they did not accept cats. There was a dog in the room next door that did bark a few times during the night. It didn't bother us but I'm sure it could have bothered someone with a higher sensitivity. We booked 2 rooms and did ask for rooms near one another. We received an email saying that it was no problem, but when we arrived they put us on 2 separate floors. We did not bother to complain because we arrived at separate times and didn't want the potential to have to move rooms.

The hotel was fine. The room was nice and also clean.

The free breakfast in the morning was mediocre. The real problem I had was not receiving my receipt upon check-out. I was emailed my receipt and upon examination (aside from the fact that somehow I was charged an additional $10.50 for the stay) I was charged a $1 fee for a donation to the Settlers Cares Foundation without ever being asked if I would care to make one. I had to do a search on this foundation and found that it was formed by their own hotel group. Last time I checked, donations were an optional thing and one couldn't be made to make donations if they didn't want to, much less without one's knowledge!

The location, rooms, cleanliness and staff were great. We will definitely be back to stay!

The only thing I feel needs improvement is the buffet breakfast. I feel the selection is very limited. I think the hot selections should include some potatoes and the danish/donut selection was very limited and bland. Adding a microwave to warm up the danish would be an improvement. I did enjoy the precooked waffles, but I had to wait in line a couple of days to heat them up in the toaster. One family occupied the toaster for quite some time between warming the waffles and cooking their bagels. If you placed this station on a separate table with at least a second toaster, plus the microwave, this would be helpful.

It was very clean, the guy at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful, rooms were clean and smelled fresh ,beds were so soft and comfortable, hot water for days(showering). It’s a damn near PERFECT HOTEL ***** 5stars from me.

Nothing really to dislike about this please. If I had to just choose one thing to change, it would be the free breakfast. Don’t get me wrong, it was good, just really salty only because of the items(not good if guests needed to watch sodium intake, HTN patients) they could do biscuits and gravy (and it would be more cost effective(than the cheese omelette and sausage patties) But they also had cereal, pastries, oj, apple juice, tea and hot coffee.

I’m pretty picky when it comes to hotels, especially when traveling with my 2 toddlers, and I found our room and the hotel in general to be very clean and comfortable. We ordered room service from the steakhouse and it was delicious and very fairly priced. It was an overall great experience and we’d stay here again!

Our overall stay was excellent so this is just being nit picky: The breakfast included with our stay was good but it would be better advertised as a continental breakfast than a “breakfast buffet” to help set expectations. Selections included pastries, bagels, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea and then somewhat randomly sausage patties and french toast as the hot food options. Not a show stopper by any means, just more of an observation.

I've been coming to this hotel since it was new and they have maintained it well. And is a great gem in an area that doesn't have any other nice hotels.

The only thing I could say is that there was a problem with whatever controls the hot and cold water in my shower. When I first reported it they sent a maintenance man who said it was working fine. I came back down a few hours later and said I was having the same problems. The second maintenance man went up and said yes there was a problem and he fixed it right away. It wasn't much of an inconvenience just thought I'd mention it!

The hotel was very accommodating. Everyone was extremely pleasant. Every employee including staff outside on their break or moving from one location to the other said hello. The coffee at breakfast was delicious Mark at the front desk, the housekeeper on my Floor on Thursday, the lovely lady at the breakfast and the young man who delivered our dessert to our room. Each of them went the extra Smile and it was such a pleasure. The lady who came to the room to correct the dessert payment was also very accommodating. Good for you all, that you show such enthusiasm for hospitality. Bravo! I was expecting a very basic hotel stay (which would have been fine) what we experienced was an absolute delight. I also want to thank Mark for the lovely note in the confirmation acknowledging my dog Petey by name. Our whole family thought that was very sweet. Petey is the royal member of our family. So Thank you again for the smiles that note brought to our faces. Great Job all around. I only wish I had every person's name to list them here.

The breakfast was a little old tasting even though we came at 8 . The luggage carts need maintenance they were very unstable. That on its own could have a very negative impact on the 1st impression of your guests .

The woman that was the breakfast attendant was not very nice. When I came down about 9:30AM and inquired about the breakfast she said it’s a continental breakfast, what you see is what you get. Which surprised me a bit. When my wife was ready about 9:25AM and she asked if there was anything more, because there was hardly anything left, M said breakfast is until 10:00AM and nothing else will be available. There were other people who wanted breakfast and they didn’t get much. I thought the breakfast was until 10:00 with all available. This was the spoiler of the otherwise great experience. M should be more pleasant and accommodating as the hostess.

I actually LOVED this hotel. Room had a huge beautiful windows and we could see the little mountains outside, it had plenty of space, I loved that they had breakfast available. My fiancé and I were traveling from Chicago and we had to stop somewhere to rest. I would do it again if I had to.

The road was a little scary at night there’s wasn’t much lightning in the streets. And that we had stayed at the 2nd floor… so neighbors upstairs were stepping on too hard at times. But other than that, wonderful hotel.
