Chester Hotel and Conference Center

It was a last minute reservation but it was close to our event. I read the reviews so I knew we would be fine there. It is an older building that needs some updates but it was great for what we needed. Clean , friendly and comfortable!! Well worth it. We did not eat breakfast.

No issues or problems. The elevator door did stick twice but finally opened. Everything else was fine.

I depend on reviews to make my decision, but rarely write one. This was a perfect place to stay. Check in was easy and the desk person was helpful. My room number 424 was very clean and smelled fresh. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and while the pillows were lumpy, I didn't lose any sleep. I was there for Citadel Country Spirit USA concert. The location was great. Bonus, Wawa across the street for a late night snack. There was free coffee, tea or hot chocolate in the lobby and a bar. I would definitely stay again! Safe area also.

We checked in the night of a big storm. A lot of the roads to get there were flooded and impassable so it took us much longer to get there then we thought. The next day the pool was closed. We were very disappointed since I had called the day before checking in to make sure it would be open. So we were only able to use it for a little bit the morning before we left. Other than that we had a very nice and relaxing stay. I would recommend this motel for a nice relaxing get away.

The hotel was comfortable, the beds were clean and very comfortable. There was a down comforter on the beds that was amazing. Bathrooms were clean and shiny. The staff are wonderfully friendly and very willing to help anyway they can to improve your stay.

It is an older hotel and could use some sprucing up, but it does have a charm that comes from the friendliness of the staff.

The breakfast was good. My room sheets was changed daily when I asked. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I guess the breakfast could of been free, it cost 7 dollars and the refrigerator in my room didn’t work that good.

The room very clean and was a good size with a couch and comfortable king size bed. It was very quiet on the fourth floor. The only caveat is that there was no comforter on the bed, only a thin sheet. Breakfast is $6.99 with free coffee outside of the dining room (the coffee machine wasn’t working however, so I was grudgingly allowed to get my coffee in the dining room since I didn’t want breakfast).

Bed, linens and room were clean. Staff was very friendly.

The handicapped shower did not have a proper drainage system so the waterconsistently flowed out of the shower and onto the bathroom floor; there is no drainage in the bathroom floor to disperse it. Handicap room was not requested.

Rooms need updating but ours was clean-should have had more than one towel for each - next morning shower we used towels that were still damp from prior shower

When I arrived I asked for a bottom floor room and the gentleman was polite and got it done for me.

Not enough towels, Very small elevators located at the end of a long hallway. Too far away from rooms. Note the breakfast buffet is not included with the room charge. It is an additional cost.
