The Hotel Warner

I like the idea of repurposing the movie theatre...there are still many remnants of it, bannisters, marquee...I would love to see the pictures of its prior life...maybe I just didn't see them. Room was quite large, bath clean, bed super comfy, linens were nice, towels were generous. Breakfast had a good variety, it was pleasing! $5 Parking garage has in and out privileges and bills the room directly. I don't think the walk back is unsafe, seems fine.

The parking is a bit of a chore to get the hang of, but once understood, it was fine. The $5 lot is the first alley after the front door, it's a huge parking garage not a lot. You get a pay ticket from front desk, you go in the lot and get a yellow card (not soccer) and walk out. When you take the car out you give yellow ticket and swipe the pay ticket. It bills your room which is nice. Traffic lanes are a bit tight locally, goes with the territory.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location near restaurants and shopping in downtown West Chester and easily accessible to tourist attractions, such as Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine Museum, and many others. Wide variety of options for the free continental breakfast as well, and the dining area was cute.

The lobby smelled vaguely like old cigarettes, but the upper floors and room smelled fine. I also thought that the parking in the hotel garage should have been free (it was $25 per night).

Everything was great!! The staff was wonderful from the minute we arrived, until we left. The location was perfect! We were visiting for our daughter's graduation. She lives directly across from Hotel Warner. The room was nice. The only complaint was that I couldn't get the Phillies game. That was probably me not the t.v. We parked in the garage across the street which was inexpensive and easy. Breakfast was fine to get the day started. Thank you to all for making our stay a great one. It truly could not have gone better!

Loved that the breakfast area was right on our floor. We didn't have to walk far. The selection of food was good for just coming out of a pandemic. The food area was clean, dishes, utensils - clean and the dining area was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating also. Wish we could have used the pool! It was clean and inviting! We will definitely stay here again for our next trip.

The mattress was too hard for me and woke several times during the night from aching. I suffer with severe arthritis and a better mattress would have helped. That was the only negative for this whole experience.

I was worried about the reviews I read, but the property was SO clean! The rugs looked brand new! The room was spacious and well kept! The safe was nice. They answered the phone quickly when I called the front desk. There were lots of things to do around the hotel. The streets and stores were very cute!

The only downside was the $25 A NIGHT parking fee. I can *maybe* see that being the fee for the entire trip, but not $25 a night!

Great location, can walk to many restaurants. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Room rates are very good, rooms are clean and the breakfast area is well laid out with nice offerings for a self serve. I have stayed here twice and will stay again when I return to West Chester. The historical rating adds to the flavor. I like this Hotel.

Nothing that I was exposed to.

Myself and family members all used The Warner Hotel for this visit to West Chester, Pa. We were all attending my mothers funeral at the time. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the hotel and surrounding area. This hotel now was once a movie theater that I attended as a child growing up in West Chester. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked with what they were offering and the person charged with that task was friendly and courteous as well. The hotel was clean and close, walking distance, to many of West Chester's restaurants.

The change of rates from one day to another especially the week-end. The difference was almost $40.00 a day. No extra services are provided and I was unaware of any rate changes when I made the reservation

I liked that it used to be a movie theater from the 50’s and 60’s.

that I had to park off property—reasonable parking rates, but I had to have an escort from the staff to walk me back to the hotel from the garage because I was by myself and it was 10:00 at night. I didn’t feel safe.

I liked the girls at the desk they were really nice. the pool was fun for the kids, the rooms were clean and nobody bothered us.

I didn’t like there wasn’t any gluten free options at breakfast, the coffee wasn’t the best and you actually have to pay to park in the hotels parking garage. I assume if you stopped paying for that they would up the price in rooms.

Great Location in a Historical Building. Clean Comfortable and easy access to Restaurants

The Hotel does not provide bottled water. I found it kind of odd that they have a coffee/tea maker with Coffee and tea for the making but no bottled water to make the coffee you can buy it at the front desk or use tap water.
