We stayed at the Retreat at Millbrook which is a beautiful location, in a wooded area in a cove by the lake. There are fire pits and picnic tables down by the water. We did not care that we had to drive 5 miles to the main resort to use the facilities because it’s quiet and secluded. The pool on the main property is beautiful and we enjoyed spending an afternoon there with drinks from the pool bar. The Wallenpaupack Lake Trail was a short drive down the road which is a nice place for a walk and view of the lake. We had dinner at two restaurants in the area which were a short drive from the unit and they were both great and reasonably priced.

We stayed on one of the lower units at Retreat at Millbrook. The outside area by our door and the porch to our unit had cobwebs, spiders and debris which I’d suggest get swept away between visitors. But the unit itself was clean and comfortable.

Quaint cottage feel on a scenic active lake. This hotel offers peaceful getaway with lovely pools overlooking the lake, a great outside bar, a guy playing guitar for entertainment, fire pits, cornhole boards. We had king room in the Sunset Cottage. It was clean and I loved the comfy king bedding, large modern bathroom with tub/spa and separate shower, large balcony overlooking the lake! There’s a fireplace for chilly nights that we didn’t need! Nice breakfast served outside in the morning. Free kayaks…friendly staff. Great overall value!!

We couldn’t get the tv to work but it was late at night so we didn’t ask for assistance. My husband felt the furniture was a little shabby but I think it worked fine for a ‘cottage’ and the important stuff like bedding and shower were really perfect! The kayaks have definitely seen better days but hey they were free to use.

I walked in and peeked into the common space as I was at reception, it was cozy and charming. We were tired from driving from North Carolina to Cape Cod and asked Siri for a hotel near us. Silver Birches showed up 12 miles from there and it was on the water so we drove there. Colleen greeted us and then poured us a glass of champagne and lit a fire outside for us and even delivered our breakfast to our room because we were leaving early to continue driving. She gave us Room #5 right on the water with the best view. We ate at the restaurant a short walk from the room that is part of the resort and had a nice meal. Everyone was so friendly. We were blessed with a beautiful sunset. We enjoyed every second of our stay. I think we are going to stay there every time we do our 14 hour drive.

It was a great experience. Everything was good.

Clean and freshly renovated rooms. Breakfast is included with rate and the breakfast food is excellent. We were there to fish the lake with a friend. The staff was very accommodating to make sure we had somewhere to plug boat over night. The property seats literally on the shore of the lake. Great Lake views, great sunsets, friendly staff!

I did not like the fact that the property is right by the road. Furthermore, it is difficult to drive in because comes up very quickly as you drive by!

Several additional nice features. Breakfast outside viewing the lake was very nice. Two pools, one a family pool, and one for adults only was an added plus. Poolside bar was also nice. Champagne toast at sunset was another plus. Overall a great location, with lots of chairs to view the lake and sunset.

One minor complaint. While our room had a view of the lake, we did not have a place where we could sit and seethe lake.

It was a pleasant stay..

Pool bar was closed. We ended up not eating at the restaurant because we stopped for a drink and an appetizer but the appetizer was not good..we literally took one bite each and left it. We told the bartender and she didn't say anything not even an offer to replace it or remove from our bill..so we drove and had dinner up the block at the boat house.

Silver Birches is a BEAUTIFUL location on the lake! The staff is AMAZING! The pool bar - awesome bbq food! They are building an adult pool which is GREAT! Pool is small and LOTS of kids. We had a cabin but it was off premises, had to drive (not ideal). Our meal at Docks was disappointing. Pricey for one night w/nothing included though. But they were VERY accomodating but letting us use the facilities/canoes, etc. both days of our stay, even though we were there only one night.

Docks meal was disappointing. Pool area is really small but they are working on an adult only pool - YAY!

Be careful booking this because the resort has several facilities off site that are NOT reflected on Booking.com. We thought we had booked something at the resort right on the lake, and instead were instructed to drive 10 mins away to a condo property the resort owned. Fortunately, the staff fixed the situation and moved us back to the main facility. Definitely check the resort's website for a better description of the properties and options before you book.

Beautiful view and quiet surroundings

I didn’t realize there were different locations at Spring Birch. I thought we would be right at the pool and other facilities, not five miles away.

There was no coffee left for us as we were told there would be. We asked twice for it, and both times someone was coming to give us some; however, we didn't receive any coffee pods. Further, our Keurig machine didn't work and even though they came to replace it, we wasted 4 pods trying to get the machine to work. We were supposed to be reimbursed with coffee pods, which did not happen,
