A beautiful and unique building that’s been repurposed as a very special hotel, all while maintaining what appear to be original architectural features. Artwork by guests and local artists displayed throughout the property. Very nice rooms, spacious, quiet and clean. Also, there is free parking on the premises, either in a parking garage or in the lot just outside the garage. Super close to Franklin and Marshall campus and an easy drive to downtown, shopping and other attractions. Very nice breakfast included, good selection of items. Helpful staff. Many thanks!

I loved the room and that it came with a couch and coffee table. The view with the sliding glass door was also a nice added surprise. Also, while getting settled in, housekeeping knocked on my door and gave me a red rose and a small packet of chocolates. That was a very charming touch! I enjoyed the whole experience.

I wasn’t aware that you had to request housekeeping. I understand that it’s a policy made during Covid, but it’s something I wish I had known about. Also, I’m sure this was out of the hotels control, but around 11pm Saturday night I was already in bed and the baseball stadium was setting off fireworks.

We loved the breakfast!! The food was healthy and it was included in room price. We got to sit on the patio and the vib ewas Italian feel with beautiful flowers. We also loved the room itself. We stayed in a suite and it was huge. The furniture was all real wood and had the right mix of modern industrial romantic mixed with Dutch country hand made furniture. There was also a sketch pad with pencils in our room for our little one to draw. This hotel is unique. You can submit your heartwork and they hang it on the wall and there are books of previous artwork in the lobby of tourists from decades past.

The only thing we didn't like was that the bar closed so early. We checked in at 8pm after a long day of Amish country tourist walking. We just wanted a beer but the bar was closing...At 8pm on a Sunday. But it looked beautiful.

Amazing art and architecture made the place very special. Beds were super comfortable and the staff was wonderful. My daughter used the Y across the street- a great benefit. The location was fabulous.

The shower curtain was too short for the bathtub and so water went all over the floor just taking a normal shower. The breakfast was lacking for such a lovely boutique type hotel. Would be great to have more hot options (scrambled eggs, hashbrown) and homemade oatmeal with more toppings. Thos are the things my family looks forward to in hotel breaksfasts.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. The theme of sketching and exhibiting artwork was quite unique and enjoyable. The breakfast was perfect. The YMCA across the road provided top quality swimming and gymnasium facilities. Friendly local people we met in the sauna gave us good guidance regarding where to go and what to see in the region.

Please arrange an alternative location than the front entrance for staff and visitors who wish to smoke.

This hotel is really a gem. We checked in to relax after our wedding and enjoyed our stay. The king suite with jacuzzi is absolutely worth it if you’re looking to have an extra relaxing and luxurious experience. We loved the service specifically Ryan was extremely attentive and helpful during our stay. We loved that there were so many restaurants within walking distance, we parked our car in the hotel lot and didn’t have to move it until we left due to the amount of options so close by.

Cozy, charming hotel, room, dining with many considerate amenities in the room and throughout the hotel. A rose and chocolate for our room! Friendly hotel employees. Lovely garden in dining outdoor setting. Safe, clean and quiet!

Great continental breakfast, bed was comfortable, art was beautiful, room was clean, jacuzzi was relaxing, complimentary waters were a nice little touch and I would 100% stay again! Also, the John Jeffries restaurant is a great place to eat!

Some of the TV remote buttons didn’t work and the coffee pot in the room had dirty water in the back that looks like it was sitting in there for awhile, but both of those things were minimal to me.

Historic building with updated interiors. Lots of brick and wood beams. Our room had a sofa bed and two chairs with an incredibly comfortable bed! The decor was upscale chic and every need was thought if in advance! Art by local artists throughout the hotel and a wonderful restaurant onsite! If we lived closer I could guarantee staying here again!!

There can be some street noise but for our Sunday night stay it was quiet while sleeping.

We liked the ambiance of the hotel - a rennovated tobacco factory - the original floors and beams were wonderful. We dined twice at the John Jeffries restaurant and found the food and the staff to be outstanding. The hotel staff was most accommodating and very pleasant. The included breakfast was a plus.

Nothing negative for us. However, if you do not have a car, some people may not be happy with the distance to the center of town.
