Breakfast each morning was a work of art on the part of the inn keepers Scott and Diane. They announced briefly the ingredients of their dishes and then after serving us sat down to visit with the guests. Diane was very helpful in guiding us in our explorations of the area including downtown Lititz. (The B&B is located several miles away.) Their son had prepared a driving tour of covered bridges which took us into the countryside.

We requested the second floor since no rooms are on the first floor. We were concerned about carrying our heavy luggage up the flight of stairs, but Scott now only carried our suitcases up the stairs but also down the stairs when we were ready to leave. So we really have nothing to complain about!

From beginning to end, our stay was perfect! Scott and Diane were the most gracious hosts and couldn’t have been any more helpful, informative and polite! They insured our stay was perfect in every way. The room was extremely cozy, clean and comfortable. The downstairs kitchenette was supplied with anything we needed 24/7. Our daily breakfast was delightful and was different each morning. It also was very nice how they chatted with us while we had our breakfast. They also supplied us with suggestions on places to go and see, and places to eat; which all turned out ideal! It’s with great pleasure that we highly recommend the E.J. Bowman House B&B when planning a visit to Lancaster, PA. A definite 10 out of 10 rating!

Nothing! The property, the hosts and everything about our stay was absolutely perfect!

This is THE place to stay in Lancaster for discerning adults. In addition to top quality building, furnishings, food and hosts, it has a fantastic GARDEN. A guest can sit amidst greenery, flowers, birds and a fish pond and just take it all in. I spent hours relaxing and reading outside.

The location between Lancaster and Lititz is good, but the road is very busy, and entering and exiting the property takes skill.

Our stay and experience at EJ Bowman House provided the perfect start to our holiday and our onward road trip to Pennsylvania and Virginia. The hosts were delightful, friendly and very welcoming. Their house and gardens were a pleasure to experience and we had a wonderful time at the premises. The 'home cooked' breakfasts were one of the many highlights of staying at EJ Bowman House, the menu was thoughtfully chosen, using the finest local produce and ingredients and drawing on the hosts's own family recipes. The breakfasts were exceptionally well prepared and presented and they were absolutely delicious. The location was an ideal base for visiting the attractions of Lititiz, Ephrata, Bird in Hand and the wider areas of Lancaster County. The hosts provided great suggestions and valuable advice and guidance on where to go and what to see to maximise the experience during our short stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at EJ Bowman House and we were very grateful for the kindness, friendliness and attention to detail provided by our hosts.

We had a great stay over my husband's birthday. The B & B is in a great central location to visit attractions in the Lancaster area. The host, Scott, his wife was on vacation, was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was wonderful too. We will definitely stay here again when we return to the area.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was delicious. The owners, Diane and Scott, are wonderful! They are very helpful with suggestions of places to eat and things to do during your stay.

There was not one thing that we didn’t like. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The home is well-kept and is beautifully decorated. It also has some interesting history, which our host shared with us. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable with snacks and drinks and pleasant conversation. The breakfast was superbly delicious both mornings we stayed. We also loved sitting in the garden near the pond. We will definitely be back.

Extremely well-kept and super clean. The innkeepers Scott & Diane were lovely and breakfast was gourmet. We looked forward to breakfast each morning and meeting all the interesting guests. A safe location and easy and convenient parking. We already booked our next stay!

Beautiful home and garden. Host and Hostess were wonderful and really made it a point to insure guests comfort. Room was well appointed. Nicely appointed butler pantry with hot/cold beverages, home made cookies and popcorn.

breakfast at 9 a.m. was a bit late i thought, but that's just me.

What a beautiful B and B! Diane and Scott were lovely hosts and provided us with options for rainy day activities since we were there in the remnants of a hurricane. Breakfast was delicious and they worked hard to accommodate my dietary issues.

It's very close to the road and could be noisy, but it quieted down at night.
