Red Carpet Inn Duncannon

I loved the place because it was really clean and the people that work there seem to really want to help and make your stay better. I loved that I did not have to worry about taking a shower there and they had a small fridge that was really convenient and a microwave and a table that u could eat at, its something small but sometimes its what it takes to make your stay more comfortable. I liked that they called and ask if I need anything before I even checked in that was a nice touch to my whole experience.

maybe the noise from the street but that has nothing to do with the hotel itself, it place close to a main street besides my hubs snoring overpowered any noise, so we are good lol. Definitely is one of the places that I am gone stop by in the future whenever I am in the area.

I stayed at the Red Carpet Inn Duncannon because it was pet friendly & close to a dog event I had entered. The facility met my expectations nicely. The man who checked me in was friendly, professional & efficient. The room, while small, was ship-shape & what I expected. The bed was VERY comfortable. There were plenty of pillows, enough towels & a lovely bathroom with a high showerhead (I'm tall) & hot water with excellent pressure. The other guests weren't terribly noisy. I would definitely stay at this facility again should I find myself in the area & based on my experience, would recommend it.

The convenient location had one downside: walking my dog was difficult. Right on the Susquehanna Trail with lots of traffic speeding by made walking not safe (or smart!). I did find a road on the same side of the road as the Inn leading into a neighborhood that proved to be a good place to walk. As my dog & I walk 3-5 miles/day, walking/exercise is important. There's nothing that can be done about the fact the road is very busy, but I was asked the Q about what I didn't like. (When I stay at a motel/hotel, I've driven for hours & am uninterested in getting back into my car to try to find someplace less busy to walk my dog; thus, being able to easily walk right from the door of the motel/hotel is something I like.)

The staff was polite, helpful, efficient and went above and beyond! I left a jacket in the room and they gave me a call when I was 20 minutes up the road to get it back. The price was excellent and the room was towards the high end of a motel room.

I was on the side facing the road and the road noise was a bit loud. The trucks going by make a lot of noise. I grew up next to a train track and slept right through it but if you would prefer a quieter side ask for a room on the back. The excellent staff will help you out!

Liked the nice shower and king bed was comfortable, location at back of motel was peaceful. Friendly staff at check-in gave me free bottled water and room was clean. 11:00am check out time is nice.

Fridge could be a little bigger for those who travel with more food, gallon size drinks won't fit.

Location, comfortable bed, easy access to my vehicle and quiet .

Been here before and staff is always accommodating. I had a problem with the micro wave and called the office the clerk was there in less than 5 minutes and solved the problem. I slept well and everything I needed was there. It seems they the staff knows who I am and give me the same location each time I stay. That's a plus for me. When travelling that way I will always stay there.

Staff was very friendly and allowed a later checkout.

I was pleasantly surprised. I booked the room online. When I pulled up to the place it looked very run down and I thought to myself, oh no. But i was tired and the few other places I'd seen were either too far or too expensive. So i went ahead. When I got to my room it was very clean and comfortable. I would tell people don't let the outside appearance deter you. It does need updating but the room was great!

I showed up after being on the road all day. First the staff at the front desk were very accommodating. Super Friendly. They had plenty of space for my trailer. And there was a restaurant near to the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was very neat and clean. the location was excellent. I will surely come back

I don't think there was anything that I didn't like. I enjoyed my whole stay

Aside from the terrible smell, it was easy to get rid of, and bath/room were very clean. Bed was super comfy and tv is pretty good. Good weekly rates.

The location is in the middle of absolute no where, there are a LOT of spiders coming from vents in bathroom, shower curtains needes to be burned, and the room/bathroom smell was so strong like cigarettes and musty.

Courteous staff. Called us 3 hours before scheduled arrival to confirm and ask if we had any special needs or requests. Prepared the room a/c to our desired temperature. Convenient location on route 15.

A problem with the elecrical outlet. The TV, refrigerator and microwave were all connected through the same power strip. We could not use the TV and the microwave at the same time without tripping the breaker on the power strip.

Check in staff was a hell of a nice guy. Place was super clean, TV was newer, plenty it receptacles for chargers and such. Nice sink and bathroom. Overall a nice motel.

The price due to inflation is probably about 20 bucks too high.
