Mainstay Inn

I have stayed at Mainstay Inn twice now. Both times, the staff were really nice, helpful, and friendly. It is a quaint inn and I am grateful for it. The location is wonderful. There are so many cute shops and restaurants on the block. Check out Soltane Cafe, a really great bakery. It is great value, especially with the Genius discounts. If you get a spot in the small parking lot next to the hotel, that is very convenient.

Sometimes the parking is less convenient and is a few blocks away. The heater in my room only worked as on or off; I could not set a desired temperature. I was there on a very cold night. I had to choose between hot and overly dry, or chilly, for overnight. I decided to heat up the room, then turn off the heater right before I slept. That worked ok.

The location was great and I loved being able to see Bridge St. right outside my window! The parking lot was quite small but I really appreciated that they had the parking pass for the lot near Paloma's/Iron Hill Brewery. Dog friendly! I loved that there was a dog park and frisbee golf course less than a mile away. We went almost daily!

There were no clean towels or toilet paper when I arrived. The soap were used as well. It was easily fixable by asking for the items so it wasn't a big deal though. They were also very apologetic and immediately got me everything I needed!

The location is on a swanky and bustling road through a quaint area that had many great places for dinner and beers. I loved the energy of the area. The hotel was satisfying for a good night sleep. It was exactly what I expected.

The parking lot is small and so if you get a spot, do not move your car again. just walk which is very enjoyable. On weekends I found out that they close the street at 2p on Sat for foot traffic only. I'm not sure how that is handled with parking, but you should call the hotel.

The feel of the Inn was very comfortable. The people at the front desk were super nice and couldn’t do enough for you. It appears they were still willing to clean your room every day for you though I did hang my do not disturb one day while I was out because I don’t really require daily service. Any request I had was addressed. Even when I called ahead of time to inquire about a few things ((mostly because of the reviews I read)) Jennifer at the front desk was more than enthusiastic to give me details and suggestions!! It is an older building. Some would put that down but I embrace it! They renovate bits at a time, I’m assuming that is to keep up with aging but I was not disappointed. I had a basic room with basic essentials. They provided an iron when I asked, there was a fridge and microwave in the room. TV and two queen beds. All I needed for a stay for the weekend to see family and attend my brothers wedding PLUS an awesome location to just step outside your door to have breakfast at the nearby coffee shop or restaurant or go to “The Foodery” and sit outside or in and have them cook up an awesome sandwich for you while you choose from one of the hundreds of beers they have for selection in their fridge. Squeezed a lot in in a three night stay 👍🏻😀

The fact that even though they do provide you parking in that busy location(A PLUS👍🏻) it is a little more than a block away. That is not a complaint because I appreciate that they do provide parking for their customers.

Locational was excellent for getting to know the town of Phoenixville. Centrally located to many restaurants and beautiful, quaint shops.

Not much except parking. I was visiting a friend and was unaware that the town closed off the Main Street for the whole weekend. very aggressive parking enforcement during a weekend designed to draw a crowd left me with a 24$ parking bill for a two day stay. Distance from the lots resulted in carrying luggage from car to hotel in the sweltering heat. Be careful where you park on the weekend. (Note: staff was aware of the issue and quite apologetic but it was out of their control.) Every staff member I met was friendly and helpful.

I love the whole hotel itself, It is nestled in this busy wonderful street that is so busy but yet the hotel is very quiet and peaceful, the best of both worlds. The staff is amazing!!! Always so nice and willing to go out of their way to help always!! Love it here

Workers were very kind and hardworking.

The cleaning lady did not finish her rooms and the front desk people had to get the room ready for us. LOVED their enthusiasm and ready to help attitude. DID NOT LOVE the cleaners do this to them...

The room was cleaned well every day. The staff was polite and helpful! The location was very convenient to my place of business and all hotels. Thank you for everything!

Evedrything went well. The quality of the service and friendliness of the staff was awesome. There were extra towels provided, the room refrigerator was on upon arrival, and the front desk clerks were very helpful.

Everything was great. no complaints. Price right for the accomodations.

Great stay for the price! Can’t beat it. Room was very clean, bed comfy, heater/ac worked great. Mini fridge, microwave. Big flat screen tv. They have good coffee at little bar area in the am with pastries, juices, cereal, fruit, hot chocolate, & tea. Small,cute, & cozy, family ran hotel. Staff very pleasant.
