My friends & I were traveling to a conference & I wanted to show them Beaufort on the way. The Inn was perfect for their first experience in Southern charm and hospitality. The grounds and rooms are lovely, well appointed, welcoming and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location couldn't be better.

I suppose it's because the place is so large they don't offer breakfast on the premises (you get a voucher for a choice of restaurants), and that's okay, but I miss the congeniality of that, and the wine and cheese and/or cookies and milk in the evening that so many places offer.

The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and in a perfect location. Unfortunately the weather turned cold and we weren’t able to enjoy the exterior which was lovely.

Because it was very cold outside we wanted to put a little heat in the room and was unable to. It was so cold ( freezing!) inside the room and bathroom. With no breakfast at the property we were given vouchers to a restaurant close by, for the price we paid, breakfast should have been included.

We stayed at the hotel for one night and wished we had booked another. Lovely location close to the river front. Staff were great. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage and go out for the day. We were offered a free pass to enter the local state park which we took advantage of as it was our plan for the day. The breakfast voucher was for a very nice breakfast restaurant where the food was excellent. Our room was very spacious with everything one would expect. I would recommend this hotel.

The only minor criticism would be some of the furniture in the room was scratched heavily but they were reproduction antique or antique so to be expected.

Everything is walking distance of your room, only a block or two! The best breakfast is across the street, Blackstone's Café! Lunch and dinner restaurants dining is overlooking the beautiful park, sail boats and the Beaufort Memorial Bridge which spins vs raising up like most bridges allowing sail boats through, neat to see. There are relaxing swings overlooking all of this in the park as well.

I loved the room, the people and location. I really loved that they hooked us up with some discounts for things we were going to do anyways. The staff was great and we loved the beauty of the inn.

the only way it could of been better is if they gave us a winning lottery ticket.

Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic. Very courteous and helpful. They had a nice lounge area downstairs where they provided complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water. We couldn’t ask for a better location. The vouchers for breakfast worked out great because one person in our party was a late sleeper and wouldn’t have been up in time for a set meal.

The main part of the Inn is a well restored old home, the surrounding cottages add a level of quaintness to the property. The bicycles were a great addition for guests to borrow and right around town. Breakfast at 2 local restaurants was also very nice, coupons to use at both locations.

Very convenient. Rooms were nice size. Nicely equipped with amenities. Coupon for breakfast was nice but should have been at least equal to what a breakfast costs. $10 unfortunately doesn’t cover much these days esp with a room costing $285 on a weds night.

It was all great.

The property was fabulously located in the heart of Beaufort. The room came with free parking and breakfast vouchers to a choice of two great restaurants in walking distance. The room was spacious. Our king size bed was dreamy. The bathroom had an amazing shower set up. We had a wonderful visit. We plan to come back soon.

The property was historic but our room was updated and very nice. Great location near everything we needed in Beaufort. Love that we had a balcony with rocking chairs, a nice big room and very nice bathroom with rain shower. Also the staff was so kind and helpful during our stay. Only wish we had stayed longer!
