I traveled with my great niece for a "girlfriend" weekend. We loved how our balcony overlooked the market. For two ladies traveling alone, it was great to be within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops and fun things to do. The staff was kind and helpful, and the room was so nice! It's great to have the full kitchen to be able to have a meal and save money.

Nothing! We enjoyed everything about our stay. I cannot think of any improvements needed.

Two story was great. 1.5 baths, even better. Kitchen, the best

The bed in Rm 212 needs to be replaced, plain and simple. To continue to give customers this room without disclosing the problem with the bed, confirmed by maintenance staff, would be inexcusable. Walking by the next day after we were moved by cooperative staff, we got the distinct impression it was occupied again. Could be wrong.

It was very charming and is located conveniently. Stacy is a true delight.

The only complaint that I have is the renovations that were happening at 7am on Saturday morning. I was woke up by the headboard being banged from work being done on the room next to ours. I felt that they were being inconsiderate of someone that paid alot to be there. I hope this prevents anyone else from having a similar experience. And they need to have a sitting area upstairs in the bedroom, nowhere to put on shoes etc. There was definately room for one.

The location is excellent for walking to restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront. The neighborhoods in the area are just so amazing to walk. Our room was very quiet and comfortable, and had great amenities. The air conditioning worked perfectly.

Parking can be a little bit of a challenge with a shared public garage a block away. That said, parking can be a challenge anywhere near that location and the hotel makes it as easy as possible.

1 bedroom king suite - Excellent location right next to the daily market. It’s on 2 levels. Kitchen, 1/2 bath, living area w/ sofa bed downstairs, and a king bedroom w/ full bath and small balcony upstairs. Very spacious. Modern and nice furniture and bathrooms are new as well Staff was very nice and helpful Parking garage is around the corner.

Toilet in full bathroom needs to be secured to the floor. It looks like it’s been attempted many times. It was very wobbly. And the faucet in the bathtub was very loose too.

The mattress was soooo comfortable!! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We especially want to recognize Tyrone who has been there as long as I've been visiting the Church Street Inn and Vaden and Yonnie made our stay most comfortable and a particular "shout out" to Miss Stacy at the front desk. She was always ready with a warm smile and welcome whenever we would come in!

I have stayed at this particular hotel in the past mainly because of the location to the downtown historic area of Charleston. I kinda like the separation of the entry area and then having the bedroom upstairs. The staff has always very friendly and helpful when necessary.

No working light above kitchen sink and only (1) light bulb in light fixture in ceiling fixture making it very dark. The toilet paper used for this property is what I would call Gas Station toilet paper meaning single ply and the cheapest you can buy. For a nice hotel, in my opinion, this is totally unacceptable. Also when I went to get coffee near the lobby area the coffee cups provided were so small it was like getting an amount of coffee that would you would get from one of the paper cone shaped cups attached to a outdoor workmans water cooler.

Excellent location, parking pass, staff was excellent , small kitchen in room — perfect for a long weekend!

Parking garage a block away but that is Charleston . Our bathroom didn’t have a working vent which made our bathroom steaming hot with 3 people using it .

The location was perfect! Loved the two story rooms! Staff was great!

The pictures on Booking did not do this justice but I am not sure if it was possible for pictures to tell the true story of this sweet hotel.

The location was awesome! Breakfast wasn’t served there, but we were given directions to wonderful places by the hotel staff! They were so nice, friendly and accommodating! We loved our stay there!!!

The only thing I would change is to a some kinds of breakfast foods!!
