Location! Location! Location! The staff were amazing! They recommended places for us to visit and eat and the places of suggestions did not disappoint!! The Inn itself was amazing very clean, spacious, it was perfect for our girls trip. Everything was clean and and the beds were comfortable. Again the staff was AMAZING! Always helpful and always kind and smiling. We took time out to talk to a few of which we enjoyed they took the time out to talk. Nice courtyard to sip your complimentary coffee in the morning. Thanks for a great place to stay. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back!

Wonderful check in at this hotel the people that work at this hotel have been the most friendly and kind and caring people .helpful on places to go and eat and enjoy a good meal .smiling saying hello and having nice conversations during our stay like a very nice home feeling the rooms are amazing clean and comfortable any needs they exceeded and we wanted to extend our stay one more night they were sold out so I understand why the location is steps right on the market great location balcony very nice. The front desk the valet car parkers the care takers in hotel were absolutely Fabulous please stay and enjoy ..coffee was even good.. enjoy your stay as we did great caring team at this hotel. Shout out to all staff you were wonderful to us room 210 thank you for all the kindness...

The location was perfect - every great restaurant, gallery, shop, beautiful streets of amazing architecture and historic interest was within walking distance. Super friendly, helpful and available staff. Pretty courtyard, small gym and suites with kitchens and two baths.

While clean, the units are dated, the bath had a towel rack that was hanging a bit and there is an initial, stale odor to the room. Carpets in halls are worn. Honestly, the location and price more than made up for it and we would stay here again without reservation.

Quaint hotel right in the heart of the city with a very beautiful peaceful courtyard with a fountain and greenery, away from the hustle, bustle. Not sure if it was up to par with the price we paid for the room, but this was our first trip to Charleston and it was a last minute booking so don’t have anything to compare it to. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The check in is a little challenging as thelol unloading and loading had to be done double parked on a narrow street if a space wasn’t available. The flight of stairs to the bedroom was sort of a surprise. I’m sure the picture of the hotel indicated this, but I booked in a hurry and didn’t notice. The rattling exhaust fan in the bathrooms that is connected to the light switch was very annoying. If you wanted light, you had the noise of the fan.

We loved the set-up of the room, two-story, gave great separation to the areas. Loved the extra half bath downstairs. Plenty of room to stay “in” during a rainy day/evening without feeling stuck in just a room. Bedroom is upstairs, so be conscientious about how you pack to carry everything you need upstairs. Our room overlooked a quaint courtyard, very quiet. The over side overlooked the market. Cant beat the location for a reasonably priced room in Charleston - great value. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Didn’t have daily cleaning, but not needed, and could have asked for anything you needed. Definitely recommend and we will return!

No complaints at all

Very attentive staff. Tyrone and Stacey were fantastic. They were friendly and helpful.The location was perfect! We were within walking distance of attractions, great shopping and great restaurants. The bed was comfortable. The little kitchen was convenient and functional. The courtyard is charming and we spent some time enjoying the courtyard. It was a great place to relax after sightseeing.

Shower faucet/ handle was a little bit odd. The water was never hot, but it was warm enough.

The room was great. It was really a small apartment. It was clean and comfortable and pretty quiet. The hotel was in a good part of downtown right across the street from the "Market". And a coffee shop a minute walk in either direction. I walked a few times to College of Charleston about 12 minute walk away. Felt safe to walk though i only walked in daylight.

The room didn't get as cool as I would have liked. The AC was set to not go under 68 degrees. The hallways were hot for some reason even though it was cool outside in January. The foyer and steps of the hotel were kind of dirty. The people at the desk were nice but quirky. There was no complimentary coffee in the lobby but the room had some I could have made. I saw about one other guest per day over the three days i was there and i was in and out a lot. It was almost uncomfortably too quiet for a good sized hotel. I also was expecting more sitting area in the lobby just to have a different place to sit that was more social but lobby wasn't really inviting as it had looked in the photos. Courtyard nice but it was cold and rainy during my stay.

the bed was surprisingly comfortable and we slept well each night. it was nice for guests to have a sitting area seperate from bedroom. TV's were good size. Very nice gentleman helped us upstairs with our luggage including taking bags to 2nd floor of room.

tissue box only had two tissues in it. no maid service during four day stay. ran out of face clothes and only three large towels. I should have asked for more face clothes but thought there would be maid service advertised valet but there is no valet service.

The desk staff and cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful! The front desk staff even helped have birthday roses delivered to my room! Whenever we had questions about where to go they pointed us in the right direction! We were greeted every time we walked in or out. We will definitely be back!!

Would have loved a way to darken bedroom a little more. Small thing but better toilet paper would be great too! (Especially when staying several days). We actually went out and got some.

The Inn’s location is central to historic Charleston and allowed us to walk to a lot of what we wanted to do and where we wanted to eat. For us it was a perfect location! The inn’s amenities were very nice: an historic setting with modern amenities. The two story “suite” was appealing along with the inner courtyard.

The only thing that I would have liked is for the parking to be free.
