North Charleston Marriott

The room was very comfortable and very clean, the staff were very pleasant. The air conditioning was very powerful and responded well to the thermostat. The blackout curtains worked amazingly well and are a great feature. The lighting in the room was also very neat, providing lots of moody or bright options. I could barely hear the neighbors (although I'm sure they could hear us, sorry about that).

Whether it was intentional or just an oversight, I was disappointed to find that the room did not have a microwave or bathtub, I guess wealthy people don't have leftovers or bubble baths? Was also mildly irritated by the design of the nightstands on either side of the bed, they were small and incredibly low to the ground for some odd reason.

the room was incredibly comfortable. it was blacked out so when I pulled the curtain it was nice and dark. which was perfect for recovering from a music festival. the bed and sheets were so comfy I didn’t want to get out of bed! Great location especially if you’re visiting River front park

it was a little difficult to get room service. the hours on the restaurant website did not match up with what the front desk said when I called down. such a small thing, but when you’re paying over $200 a night you come to expect a higher tier of service.

The breakfast was great.

I am not sure why the person that checked me in did not share with me any of the amenities, wifi codes, which direction to go once checked in. He barely spoke to me. He stated how much I owed. I had ask why the additional charge and if it would be refunded at the end. I had to ask which way to go. And had to ask about Wifi from someone else. I wonder if it was because I used a 3rd party booking?

Check-in/check-out was super easy and quick. Easily one of the nicest and cleanest hotels we've been to. Staff was kind, room was a good size, and bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable as well. We loved our stay and the price was very good. We also went to the Bar our last night there & loved it as well. The bartender was so sweet and kind.

There is nothing to complain about. Cannot find anything we did not like, we had a very pleasant stay.

Clean nice rooms

Breakfast buffet was awful - powdered eggs for $17 per person, it was disgraceful and a huge ripoff! For $17 I EXPECT AN AWESOME BREAKFAST. WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING? IF YOU SERVE CRAPPY BREAKFAST IT SHOULD BE FREE. IF I KNEW IT WAS AO BAD I WOULD HAVE GONE TO MCDONALDS DOWN THE STREET.

Everything about this hotel is great. The ambiance is unmatched of any hotel I’ve been to yet! It was very clean and it smells A M A Z I N G ! I wish we’d arrived earlier so we could have gone to the bar, but it was only an overnight stay. The breakfast was great as well! I’m not a big coffee drinker, but the coffee was great! The food options were awesome, definitely worth the extra $15 we paid for the room. I also was obsessed with the fire pit in the pool area. The staff was awesome, everyone was accommodating! I think his name was Nick, he was such as sweetheart checking in! Our waitress for breakfast was also great, loved everything! We definitely will be coming back!

The air conditioner was loud, so it woke us up everytime it cut on. We are pretty light sleepers, so I’m sure it wouldn’t bother anyone else. But that literally was my only complaint. Everything else was great.

We stayed here over night to celebrate our anniversary, it’s in a great spot and sits in the middle of downtown Charleston and Mt. Pleasant. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable as well. Our check-in and check-out was easy and the staff were also nice. We even got in late around 11:30 pm after dinner and realized we left our key cards in the room, I was worried there wouldn’t be any staff and we’d have to wait for whoever was on call, but thankfully there was someone working we were able to get another key. Overall it was a great stay. I’ll definitely book here again.

The toilet was a little slow, but that was minor.

The hotel is stylishly renovated, the rooms are nice, location is 15 min away from downtown Charleston

It’s noisy with the highway on one side, and air conditioner units under the window on the other side. The floor in the room was sticky as if they didn’t wash off the cleaning liquid well.

Good value, convenient location, great amenities. Plenty of parking and also airport shuttle. Polite staff, rapid check in / out. Strong and hot shower!

Food service was not great on all 3 occasions but the quality and quantity and price were good. One night we requested room service, for example, and were told we had to come down to pick up. We went to order at 9 pm and we were told that the kitchen was too backed up and was no longer taking orders (closing time was 9:30) and we ended up with ice cream and granola bars for $12.

The room was clean and comfortable.

Had issues at the front desk due to prebooking and prepaying for my room through Booking.com. They tried to charge me again for the room at the front desk twice.
