Love the location and set up

When I got a room in November. It has 2 bedrooms in the room. This time I really thought it would have a separate bedroom but it did mot and was a little cramp for 4 people. The bathroom shower door would not close all the way& would spray water on the floor

I liked that the hotel was in a great location, quiet, and had a delicious continental breakfast. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas. An added touch of a big and beautifully decorated Christmas tree and a fully equipped hot chocolate bar with Christmas cookies. Our 2 bedroom suite was clean, as well as comfortable.

My only complaint was that the kitchen in the suite was missing some essential equipment, such as dish detergent, silverware, ice bucket, and paper towels. BUT the very efficient, nice, and helpful hotel staff (especially the 2 ladies and gentleman working the front desk during our visit)quickly rectified the situation to make our Christmas weekend visit to Charleston very pleasant and memorable.

I went to Whole Foods up the street and made all of my meals. There was plenty of plates, bowls, cups, glasses, measuring cups, measuring spoons, utensils, kitchen tools, a skillet, a small pan and a big pan to make spaghetti. The carpets and couch was freshly professionally cleaned which was great. You just let them know if you need your trash taken out and new towels or opt for the room cleaning. The laundry room is clean and a good size. The gym is nice and the pool looks refreshing.

Good beds, clean, spacious, good gym, outdoor pool was small but nice. The second day breakfast was really amazing, the manager added wheat toast, real eggs and enough coffee, spoons and real fruit. This was after complaints from day 1.

On Day 1, breakfast was disappointing with too many sweet things, coffee and half and half ran out, dry scrambled artificial eggs, bread was either raisin bagels or white sliced bread. Two managers spoke with us at length and the next day it was world's better! Fresh fruit, whole wheat bread, recognizable eggs, enough coffee and much more. Way to go team Marriott!

Awesome place for vacation stay. Our Queen studio room was beyond our expectations. Not only did it come well appointed, it over performed! Came with almost a full kitchen, dining table with seating for four, two Queen beds and arm chair with foot stool. Breakfast was also included and it was not your typical continental breakfast but one which includes sausage or bacon, quiche and omelettes. It was also very tasty to boot. Very comfy bed, decent shower , we had a very pleasant stay

Nothing at all!

I was charged at a rate higher than I booked the room for. I've tried calling about this issue and no one answers the phone. Please call me about this problem.

Room rate

Breakfast was OK, but a switch-up every now and then would have made an improvement. Comfortable and roomy enough for the four of us. Our vehicles were packed to the hilt, and we felt that we were in a safe area.

At first, beds were OK, but after a few nights, started to get uncomfortable.

Staff was apparently doing something on the computer as we arrived. We stood there awkwardly while we waited without her saying one word. an “ I’ll be right with you “ or some other greeting would have been nice. Staff also called at 10 am asking if we wanted to stay another night . It made it seem like we had stayed past checkout and needed to pay for an extra night. I’ve never had a hotel just call to see if I wanted to extend my reservation.

Friendly and helpful staff; decent breakfast

weekend charge to my hotel was not disclosed when I booked the hotel. Closet overhead light was too high and not turning on; part of the wall panel to the left of the tv that is lifting; bathroom door does not close well and does not lock.

It had everything you need for an extended stay. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner smelled great and there was a sufficient amount. Maintenance staff was very friendly.

It said it had a social 5-7 p and it did not. Gym only had free weights and treadmills. Room was always humid. Tv is way too small !!
