the hotel was a great location, not far from the downtown area, we could easily take the shuttle from the hotel down there which was very convenient or a quick uber ride. it was a nice setting looking out over the river and the pool/outdoor patio area was very nice! we also had complimentary breakfast each day was was a great and everyone as nice and friendly.

The Courtyard Charleston Waterfront was Absolutely Beautiful. We enjoyed our View and our Room. Eddie the Shuttle Driver was Absolutely Awesome. He made our stay even more exceptional because not once did we have to drive our personal vehicle anywhere. He was there to drop us off and pick us back up. It was my wife and I 15yr Wedding Anniversary and when he found out he was determined to help make our 2 days comfortable and convenient to different downtown locations. A lovely, peaceful place to stay, with great river views. A free shuttle to town was a brilliant service and we used it a lot. The staff were so friendly and kind, nothing was too much trouble.

location, convenience, clean, comfortable bed

HVAC was not good. Room was COLD when we got there the first night. Found that the A/C was on, not the heat. Changed it to heat and it took forever to heat up. Second night, it was HOT, way hotter than the 70 degrees it was set at. Turned it down to 60, and it kept blowing hot air! Finally just turned it off.

The shuttle! It was on time, at convenient times and the drop off/pick up point was right in the best part of old Town. The coffee shop/bar was great. Free coffee station was always well-stocked. The small self serve convenience store area was well stocked with everything from sunscreen to cold beers.

Like a lot of properties trying to handle this surge in business and not enough staff, there were a couple maintenance issues with a leaky faucet and balcony lock needing some attention.

The property itself is great. We loved our room and the amenities. It’s truly wonderful to sit by the pool and also see the marina.

The bistro messed up 2 orders significantly, one of which was to-go and so could not be fixed. We were given free parking as an apology.

It has a large, beautiful patio with lounge chairs and rocking chairs. A wonderful place to relax in the evening. - Shuttle service to downtown was great!

Hall carpeting did not seem clean.

Peace and quiet

The information given by not only staff but manager was inconsistent. We were told that since we arrived so late we could use the hot tub if quiet, only to then be told the security guard would loss his job if he let me stay. Also we told the wrong closing time on food available in dining in. We ended up having to order out food, very late.

We loved the location of the hotel and the corner room with the water views!

Only 1 selection of toast...I can't have seeds so I couldn't eat the bread they served. We wished they had more of a food menu to include lunch and a better dinner menu. If we didn't want to go out to eat, we had no choice....

Location on the river. parking, open area of lobby and dining area, outdoor space and pool. Shuttle access to French Quarter.

In the room, I did not like the location of the sink outside the main bathroom.
