I originally booked for just myself and husband, but our adult daughter and her dog came along at the last minute. The desk clerk had no issue with the additional person, or the dog. There was a $20 fee for pets, and there were quite a few in the hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet even though we were on the main floor, and you could hear dogs barking in other rooms when you walked by. Breakfast was excellent, with choices from eggs and sausage to cold cereal, yogurt to muffins; pretty much anything you would want. It's easy to get into downtown Charleston or to North Charleston. Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Lack of information available for dining options. They had a menu for pizza in the lobby, but that was it. We asked at the desk and were directed to downtown Charleston but were not given any recommendations. Being somewhat familiar with the area, we opted to drive up route 61 to North Charleston where we knew there were many restaurants to choose from.

I love the motel and the location. The rooms were nice and the place was clean. It's definitely a gem . If i asked for towels or anything that was needed, the staff was super nice and accommodating. I will book again maybe, and that's a big maybe.

All the staff was super friendly with the EXCEPTION of the breakfast lady. She was very nasty this morning. I told her that the orange juice was out, and she came back with "we are out, and I dont have anymore. Can't you see the tag doesn't say orange juice?" What was wrong with I'm sorry we are out? Why would you want to be so nasty over something so simple? The other thing that upset me. When I booked this place on booking.com, there's no place on the site for this hotel that states it costs $15 a night to park. Why would I pay to stay at the hotel and then pay another $15 every night to park . I have reservations for Labor Day weekend for 5 days. I will definitely cancel if the $15 a day applies and book across the harbor for a different hotel.

Room was clean and met expectations. The location was great. I felt safe here, and actually enjoyed walking around the marina in the mornings with coffee. It's also just a quick drive over the bridge to downtown Charleston. Hot breakfast was provided and was typical.

Location is not very walkable. There is a restaurant near it, but otherwise you will need a car/ride to get elsewhere. Toilet in our room had a strange water level and felt sketch, like it might overflow. It took forever for the tank to refill after flushing, making it hard for all of us to use it. No fan in bathroom (or maybe it didn't work?) so getting ready was difficult with fogged mirrors.

The Breakfast was awesome! The room was great! The girls at our check in and Saturday afternoon were awesome! Enjoyed being about to see the boats coming and going! We sat outside in our beach chairs and watch boats in the afternoon. Really love that this place is so pet friendly! Absolutely loved seeing all the fur babies.

The pool was closed Saturday due to maintenance needing to be done. Someone had pooped in the pool while we were out there! Crazy...

The beds were very very comfy. I loved the layout of the room. It was very spacious. I also liked the shower and the very large full-length mirror. The decor in the room was nice. It made me feel warm and welcome. The heating unit was very responsive and warmed the room quickly when I turned the heat up.

Behind the nightstand was a thick layer of dust so it led me to wonder what else wasn't getting cleaned. The common areas were a bit run down. But the room I stayed in was way better than the common areas. I wish they had more snack options in their shop downstairs though.

The cleanliness, there was always a friendly someone at the front desk to assist us. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed the view of the waterway.

The woman preparing our breakfast did a wonderful job but there needs to be another staff member hired to work with her on busy days. She had at least 50 ppl on Sunday morning when we were eating and it broke my heart to watch the guests rudeness toward her. She was great

The room had two full bathrooms and a separate living room with furniture that was very comfortable. The bedroom was spacious and separate from the living room.

The location was very scenic and I definitely cannot complain. The only thing that would have been more convenient would be a location closer to downtown but I realize the rate would probably have been higher to reflect that so this is really not even a complaint per se.

The staff was very friendly

I booked a handicap room. It was so hard for my Son to maneuver his wheelchair in the room. We had to move the fridge and microwave to get to the bed. Also had to wait at checking in for the room to be cleaned. One hour after check in time. There were false eyelashes on the bathroom counter.The air conditioner sounded like a train every time it came on.

The staff was so nice, literally everyone I spoke with was so nice and ready to help. I asked for a 2nd room in the middle of the night because I'm pregnant and my husband and i couldn't fit on a double bed comfortably. We also chose a room too small for my husband, my daughter and husband's service dog. So much snoring lol! They found me a room super close and fast, but the bed was extremely worn out. I sank to the bottom on one side, made it hard to get out of bed but I didn't care because it was quiet and i actually got a few hours of sleep.The room was handicap accessible so i had a walk-in shower as well, being pregnant i needed that and was just so thankful for a few hours of sleep and a warm shower, with a friendly staff too. I had some pregnancy related reasons to go home early and they were so helpful with the early checkout. Thank you again!

Some of the mattresses could be replaced for more comfort.

The room was large and the beds were beautiful with down covers and 3 pillows each. Lovely photographs of nature on the wall and a large mirror that was a piece of furniture. We had a mini-fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was large. The breakfast was wonderful with scrambled eggs, sausage, hot waffles, and syrup, two kinds of cereal, yogurt, blueberry muffins, toast, and 3 pots of hot coffee with milk or 3 kinds of flavored creamer! You can get coffee an hour before breakfast opens which is a plus. The location is central and it adjoins a lovely marina!
