Hotel Trundle

We stayed at the Hotel Trundle twice during our trip to the southern states. The first time we checked in, it was around 0100 and found the reception staff very helpful. The complimentary drinks on arrival were an added bonus. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Even though the hotel offers parking the hotel is positioned perfectly to be able to explore the city by foot. The market on a Saturday morning is literally just around the corner.

A local cafe supplied the breakfast options and although they were very good, we would have preferred a lighter option ie cereal and fruit to be included in the menu.

Location was great. It is just a block from the Main street restaurants and shops. The Parking behind the building was convenient. Kept old building charm but nicely renovated and decorated with Retro/Modern feel. The Big nice bathroom. Welcome drink. Friendly staff. The breakfast was deliver to room but food was tasty.

I do not like to eat in the room. I wish they have a breakfast room. The 1st floor room I stayed has a small window high up.

This hotel's location was perfect for us. We wanted to explore local attractions and found we could easily walk to all of them. Staff were extremely helpful.

Would have been nice to have a hotel information booklet we could browse through.. We only found the microwave on our last morning. We would have liked a kettle in our room as the coffee machine only produced luke warm drinks.

Breakfast was excellent, the bed was comfortable, the decor was memorable, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Could easily hear neighbors, especially when they watched television. Also, the bathroom had some minor (but still annoying) issues, like toilet was hard to flush, faucet sprayed all over, and door wouldn't close all the way.

The hotel location is convenient and located downtown near all the restaurants and shopping boutiques. The decor is unique and beautiful. I will definitely stay here again. Take advantage of the breakfast it was really good.

Breakfast was very good. Provided by a local restaurant. Delivered to our room at the time we requested. Two adult beverages included at check in. Or later if you like.

The young lady was by far the nicest front desk employee that I have seen in a long time at any hotel we have stayed at she was just a complete joy to talk too.

The breakfast was very basic, mainly due to Covid restrictions . Also I stayed in a room that the bathroom door was a barn door which looked really nice unfortunately I was in town for a dance convention and was staying there with my two teenage daughters and these doors didn’t allow any privacy.

Everything was clean and tidy as always. Staff was very friendly as always and accommodated my early check in request. No complaints!

Did not eat at the hotel. I have to put in here that the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was different than rooms elsewhere. We loved the decor. It was downtown which accounts for the price but felt it was worth it. The bed was really comfortable.

the price was higher than we normally pay but due to location we expected it.

Surprisingly quite, considering it's right across the street from an Emergency Room!
