Tru By Hilton Rock Hill, SC

I was impressed by both the facilities and the staff, and I tend to be a bit curious about both. The lobby area is very cool and can accommodate a fairly large group of people; there were baseball players and their families staying at the hotel. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and the big screen television, and the fitness room. The adults enjoyed the fact that the kids were occupied, LOL. The room was clean, the bed is comfortable, there were two firmness levels for the pillows, and there was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower for guest use. There was hand soap and body lotion at the vanity sink for guest use. Breakfast was great, and they have an automatic pancake maker. Just wave your hand or press a button and you get hot, fresh pancakes cooked while you wait. I really like this hotel and will more than likely stay here each time I visit Rock Hill. The location is very convenient to shopping, finding something to eat, and accessing the interstate.

Honestly, I did not encounter anything that I didn't like.

The only things that I didn’t like was in the first room we checked into the tv didn’t work. That was taken care of by moving us to a different room with a working tv. The other issue was not being able to control the heat in the room it stayed on 70 the whole time and the heat was air I guess I should have asked about that but I didn’t want to continue to have problems. But over all the room and stay was very nice.

The lack of communication with the booking company and the hotel Changes to my reservation were made in a timely manner and I was STILL WA OVER CHARGED 206$ AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REDOUND YET Needless to say there were several out us in the same situation and we were told to call back Monday when the manager is in .

it was clean and very modern

I would have rather been in a regular room instead of a handicap room. There was a message light on the phone; however, there was no instructions on how to check the message. I tried calling the front desk and no one answered. When we checked out two of the Hotel staff was out front smoking. I didn’t think it was appropriate to smoke right at the exit and entry way of the hotel.

Very. clean room which made it easy to relax. Arrived a little early and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast was great. Could not have done any better for the price.

The only thing that I did not like was the fact that the microwave is in the lobby area and not in the rooms. Aside from that it was great.

Hotel was super clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I appreciated the modern touches and conveniences. Staff was a pleasure to deal with.

I see where they were trying to appeal to my generation as far as decor wise but it comes off just looking cheap and basic. The Best Western GLO does a much better job at achieving a modern cool swanky style and it's more reasonably priced.

We absolutely love Tru by Hilton. The rooms are very clean and beds are so comfortable. Soaps and lotions dispensers in the bathrooms. Breakfast I have to admit was absolutely delicious. Location was very good and lots of options around with restaurants and retail shops.

Covid has changed the the way breakfast is done but the still had a variety. Different frozen breakfast sandwich choices, variety of patries, cereals, fruit, and breakfast snacks. The shower in the bathroom is amazing. The staff were very nice. The downstairs lobby area is perfect hangout spot for friends, family, and sport teams. The location was perfect. Far enough from major highways and noices from vehicles, but still close to shopping areas and restaurants. Overall hotel is very modern and new. Definitely will stay again for a basketball tournament in Rock Hill.

The rooms were smaller than normal but perfect for a short stay and a small family.

Very clean new property. great coffee available 24/7. The staff were very friendly and helpful. lots of places to walk our dog Lots of restaurants to choose from

Only complaint was the bathroom sink stopper. it wouldn’t raise up very far and was an issue for water drainage

I didn’t like that booking.com charged me 129$ for my room and then on arrival booking . com showed the rate for the night at 110$. the hotel double charge me for the room. we had trouble adjusting the thermostat in rm 331.
