Rooms do not have microwaves. People must go to the lobby to reheat their dinner. The elevator is very sluggish, and the exits are too far away from the elevator. The breakfast room in the entrance is tiny and inconvenient. The most crucial thing to remember is that parking a car costs $50 each night.

It was very nice and clean. They have live music on the weekends. Most of the staff was amazing. Our air conditioner in our room leaked causing the floor to get wet. Maintenance took care of it right away.

They could have a little more options for breakfast. The bartender was not very friendly and had a little bit of a attitude. They have valet parking for $42 a night. Which is a little high, but we parked at the Hayes street parking garage for $20 a night. They do charge a $50 dollars a night deposit, but as long as you don't have any room charges or damages they put it back into your account pretty quickly.

Cute, very clean, quiet smaller hotel with lovely helpful staff. Location was easy walking distance to Vanderbilt and about 1-1.5 miles to downtown. We also walked to and from downtown easily. Very safe areas to walk. $42 a day to valet park. We Ubered everywhere that we didnt walk and that was very easy - both Ubers and Lyfts were plentiful. Electric scooters are also very easy to find. Several restaurants within a couple blocks.

Nothing terrible to be concerned about, but Breakfast was most basic Ive seen at a hotel - it consisted of only plain/raisin bagels, oatmeal, some fruit danishes, hard boiled eggs, Folgers coffee, apple/orange juice and milk. Our Beds were a bit lumpy, and they charge for a late checkout - $25 for 1 hour and $50 for 2 hours. However, they happily store luggage at the front desk. Overall these were minor inconveniences for us because location, quiet and cleanliness made up for it.

The room was very clean.

The water in the room cost $8.00 a bottle so we didn't touch that. The noise outside of the Hotel was very disturbing since they are putting up a new building. The construction workers start banging with there tools at 5;00 am, if I had knew this way before hand, I would never have stay in this Hotel. And on the description on the website it doesn't mention that this is going on. I know it is temporary, but please put it in the description that this may go on for now. Breakfast was nothing to write home about, bagels, oatmeal, boiled eggs, orange juice and of course coffee. But I can say, it was better than nothing.

Hayes Street Hotel is a nice place to stay for a long weekend. It is sort of a 'no-frills' place. The decor was 'fair', nothing fancy, nothing posh. But it was comfortable. The room was adequate and clean. We had two queen beds, which were comfortable with good linens/pillows. The window had a 'blackout' shade, which was nice to keep out the light. The bathroom didn't really have many amenities, one bottle of shampoo, a bottle of conditioner, and a bar of soap. Nice great quality, but sufficient. No hand lotion, bath gel, etc. They had a chest of drawers to unpack and store your clothes, as well as an adequate number of hangers. There are seven floors and we stayed in room 714. There is construction going on right across the street (in the framing stage right now) of a new hotel, so there was constant banging, engine noises, crane noises, etc. early in the morning -- but I think that would be mitigated if you had a room on the other side of the hotel. In the mornings, they served coffee/tea down in the lobby. Nothing fancy (Folgers drip coffee). They also had a small buffet of breakfast items, but I never tried it. They have an ATM in the lobby. Valet parking is $42 per night. The hotel is centrally located to lots of restaurants/bars. Overall, I would stay here again. It is a good value and, as long as your expectations are kept in check, this is a nice option.

Better amenities, better breakfast items.

Location is good. Close enough to everything but far enough away from all the noise. Friendly front desk staff. Great bed and room size - Super comfortable. Awesome shower. Coffee, Tea and Water available 24/7. Great AC for summer heat.

Breakfast is included but could be better. Not a great selection and no English Breakfast tea available. Not very swift at cleaning the tables between people at breakfast either. Often run out of hot water and iced water. Bar is only open until 10pm. Some staff not as friendly as others. Room cleaning is only available if you ask.

the room size and cleanness was fantastic

the breakfast was basic- Ive stayed at other hotels in the area that offered much better breakfast the thing that got us was the $40 parking per day that was outrageous we parked here on our first night then found ultrative parking and to boot the hotel charged us 4 nights of parking we didn't use, but it was rectified their staff needs to be a little more knowledgeable about the areas and happenings of nashville the night staff was lazy and didn't even acknowledge you arrived they just had their heads down on the their phones - not one evening when we arrived was there water in the decanter in the lobby

The hotel was in an area that you would walk easily. I mean on a nice day, I was able to walk all the way downtown (near the arena and the Country Hall of Fame. Didn't know I was so close to Vanderbilt University so I made time for a walk that that beautiful campus! This hotel is also located near the Gulch where there are plenty good spots to eat!

Honestly, the breakfast at the hotel could be improved....I don't know if COVID had something to do with the selection that was available, but it could really be revamped. I hope management looks into that WITHOUT having to increase the price of the overall stay.

Hotel was bright, clean and in a good location, easy and cheap via taxi to downtown.

The horrendous construction noise at 05:30. Not generally the hotels fault but we were never made aware this could be an issue and given a choice of room or whether to even continue our stay. Even when confronted in the morning no responsibility was taken or quarter given to compensate for the basic aspect of paying for a nights uninterrupted sleep. Also we were over charged on a bar bill due to incorrect menu labelling which took until the following day to get rectified as the barman wouldn't budge when questioned. This shouldn't detract from the general good stay we had in a nice well located hotel.

The front desk staff was amazing! Special thanks to Lucy and Sheila for their help and suggestions. The continental breakfast in the morning was good and well maintained.

The location wasn't as close to things as we thought, but we managed by using Uber/Lyft. Lots of construction in this city and the hotel has a building going up right across which made it a little difficult for pick ups at times, but again, we managed. The room was clean, but could use some touch up, i.e., paint chipping on bathroom door, tub needs refresh and window blind needs a new look.
