Holiday Inn Express Memphis Medical Center - Midtown, an IHG Hotel

Breakfast was the typical pastries and stuff with fresh fruit. The room was very clean and well maintained, fully stocked with towels, and other essentials. It was a very good room and a great location, within less than 5 minutes of my meeting.

There were some technical issues during check-in. I had prepaid for the room but still had to pay an additional fee for "incidentals" at check-in. Had to come back down to the lobby to make this payment as there banking system was not accepting CC payments at the time of check-in. Was given two key cards to my room, only one of them would open the door.

I've paid 3x more for a room and the the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. Here the bed and pillows were unbelievably comfortable 😌 😴 Everything was pretty decent. Staff were a delight.....especially the staff member that handles breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again.....came from Dallas.

I didn't like the fact there were no fans in the bathroom. It gets really hot in there. Basically you need to keep the door open and I was there with my Aunt. We love our privacy!

what a nice stay!! my daughter was having surgery at nearby hospital, so wanted to stay close. Didn't know they would offer discount due to having someone in the hospital, so I booked thru a 3rd party. desk clerk tried to get a discount added, but couldn't. Now I know for the next time. the entire staff is VERY friendly. Your breakfast was fantastic!! It was the perfect start to each day spent at hospital. The lady who prepared the food, kept insisting i eat more! LOL Very kind

room was a little small with the big furniture.

This is our second stay at this hotel. We loved it so much we had to go back! The staff are so amazingly friendly! Zee, who does the breakfast is phenomenal. Not only is the breakfast delicious, she is extremely friendly. Her biscuits and gravy are the best!! I loved chatting with her at breakfast. This hotel will be our go to in Memphis.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

The staff was phenomenal at this location. They took time to converse with their guests, give recommendations of places to visit and made one feel comfortable. They all seemed to enjoy working at that location and it was a very pleasant experience. Ms. Z at the breakfast area was phenomenal as was our desk clerk who greeted us so warmly upon arrival.

There was not a thing at the Memphis downtown location that wasn’t professionally handled. I had a small concern that was handled immediately.

Breakfast was great. The breakfast staff was very professional and the breakfast area was kept exceptionally clean. The place was relatively quite except for the elevator. Parking was good and they had security on site patrolling the grounds.

Every time the elevator was used, it made a loud noise. Every time!! Someone's yapping dog wouldn't stop yapping. Just because a property is pet friendly doesn't mean everyone wants to listen to you pet!

Omg!! When I walked into the hotel all the staff members greeted me. Clara, front desk was so helpful. Her communication and professional skills were exceptional. Zee, in the hospitality department was so helpful making sure all my needs were met by serving myself and other guests for breakfast. Zee went out of her way to converse with each guest and very personable. The housekeeper Ree Ree was professional and had great communication skills making sure all guests rooms were nicely fitted and cleaned. The first set of sheets that were on the bed needed changing because there weren't cleaned. Therefore, Ree Ree was so nice about changing the rooms sheets. Great attitude and beautiful smile. Mrs. King, is so kind showed professionalism as a manager personable. Mrs. King made sure all the guests she spoke with were taking care of and registration was superb. Mrs. King is an awesome inonvator leader and compassionate with integrity. Lastly, Grandma Dorothy when I came downstairs for breakfast. Miss Dorothy greeted me with the most exceptional personality, full of laughter, and was a great communicator and gave so much.

At the bottom of the toliet there was blood at the bottom. The toliet ran alllllllllllll night!🤦🤦🤦😳😳😳😳

Room was very nice, comfy bed, and smelled good and clean. Breakfast was delicious! Staff were all extremely friendly, every single person spoke and was in a great mood. Very happy we stayed here for my birthday!

Staff was great, breakfast was very nice, location was perfect for what we were there for.

The only thing I wasn't super happy about was in the bathroom. I should have asked them to change the shower curtain. It smelled a bit soiled and there was no bathroom fan so it just had a bit of an icky smell.

Modern decor, fantastic breakfast, central location for sightseeing in Memphis.
