Holiday Inn - Memphis Downtown - Beale St., an IHG Hotel

The staff was great very friendly and very informative helpful with places to eat and where to go every one was amazing valet parking staff was very helpful all around a great place

Valet parking not the staff but after paying so much to stay there we also had to pay for parking our car there 25 dollar a day so if you didn't park it at the hotel you had to park your car across the street at a parking garage that charged 10 dollars a day such a shame I didn't like that part at all room was smaller than I thought it was 3 of us with 2 double beds when I made the reservation I stated 3 adults but we still got a small room also we had to ask a lot for towels because it was 3 of us we needed more towels

The room was clean, nice and very cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Location was great!

The check in could have went smoother. We waited 25 minutes to check in. There was only one desk person and she didn't seem to know what she was doing. She charged my card twice and said it will "probably" fall off tomorrow, if not, call back. So, she charged my card $444 for the room and parking (which was high for a standard room to begin with) and deducted $367 again in error for just the room charge.

Room was ok it was dirty towels in the bathroom I guess from previous guest I don’t know. Had to ask for more clean towels. I’m not sure how they do the rooms now but I wish we could have at least got our trash pickup.

Pay a little more attention to the guest rooms and how they clean the room. And for that reason we always bring our cleaning items to clean ourselves. It was still stuff on the floor. That should not happen. It was a nice hotel but for those reasons we probably will not stay there again. It’s other hotels right in the area.

Wrong room then we booked when they put us in the room we booked. The water stopped working for 3 hours. Check in staff Was a great help. We paid for valet and they young kid handed us our keys told us go get our own truck. No microwave in room for the price of almost $500 for 2 nights

We arrived at 4 to check in and they told us that our room was still not ready yet if we could to give them about 30 minutes to an hour to get the room ready and they would call us as soon as it was clean and ready. 5 o'clock heard nothing, 6 o'clock didn't hear nothing. So we finally walked back to the hotel at 7 since we had dinner reservations at 8:30 and we needed to get ready and they told us it was ready 3 hours later and no contract we was told. So now we are rushing to get ready for my birthday dinner.

Excellent location! Concierge/valet, Mr..Henry, was extremely helpful giving directions and suggestions for food and things to do. Beds very comfy, clean, great view from window with tons of light during day. During checkin, a tour group with 20 rooms was ahead of us, but they were very fast and efficient.

Room 1155 near ice machine and very loud most mornings with people filling coolers. Most days there was an odd smell in lobby and in hallway of 11th floor.

The room was on the 9th floor and had floor-to-ceiling windows on the street wall. What a great view, especially of The Peabody Hotel across the street. All of the room functions worked perfectly. It didn't seem like there was any food service, so we went out for dinners and breakfasts. I've included a shot of a carriage waiting across the street at the Peabody Hotel. The Parking Valet remembered us from Day #1 and had our car waiting on Day #2.

Like, I said, there was no food service or room service. I'm sure that's due to Covid-19 issues, so it's understandable. No real fault there...nothing is back to normal, yet.

The location was great. Room was comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small but not a deal breaker. The daytime valet was fantastic! I wish I caught his name. It was very quiet and we were not disturbed.

I didnt like that we had to walk up the parking garage stairs at midnight with all our bags. There is no valet service after a certain time. The overnight person failed to tell us there was not an elevator in the parking garage. My daughter, my 11 year old son and I had to figure out which stairwell to use while hauling all our bags up 2 flights of stairs after a 10 hour drive!!

Love embassy and love the location. The inside is very spacious and ambient with plenty of seating throughout and live plants everywhere amidst a waterfall. The staff was super friendly and helpful. One lady at the bar gave me a bottle of water when I told her there was no vending machine by the ice maker on my floor. The room was very comfortable and we didn’t notice any overt uncleanliness. The floors do need attention. I’m not sure why any major hotel uses carpeting anymore, but it could use a deep spot cleaning in places. The tv in the lounge area of our suite did not work. I finally unplugged and plugged it back in, but then it wouldn’t connect to internet to turn on Netflix. This normally wouldn’t matter, except that I had woken up with a tummy ache and wanted to watch my favorite show while I dozed back off on the couch. The breakfast was fine. Mostly fruit, yogurt, cereal, and ready-to-go pastries and sausage biscuits to microwave and take away. We will certainly stay again. I just like to give thorough reasoning for my thorough ratings.

Location was perfect we were in town for Beale street and everything was within walking distance.

Bathroom is very small. The room size was a bit small for two people but it wasn’t a inconvenience. The Ice Machine on our floor didn’t work and when we went to another floor the cleaning lady told us we couldn’t take Ice but I did anyway.
