Breakfast was mediocre compared to some hotels we’ve stayed in, but it was adequate. Loved the rocking chairs outside for us to enjoy. First time I have ever been in a hotel lobby/ breakfast area with no tv. I always get up earlier than my husband and go downstairs to enjoy my coffee and keep an eye on morning news. Strange here the only tv in public area was in breakfast area that is closed except for the 2 hours open for breakfast and no seats of any kind in that area. First time in a hotel since the pandemic ( we generally use camper) and was surprised housekeeping only put in fresh towels; bed was not made, coffee cups were not replaced, etc. For us this was ok, I made beds, and we just used coffee service downstairs.

I thought it was exceptional. I really enjoyed the fact that they had the rockers chairs out front so I could bring my mother out in the morning and we can watch the sun come up. and your breakfast was to die for my parents love that it was great to get them on a vacation we felt secure everything was convenient. The staff was awesome. We didn’t want for anything we will be coming and staying with you again thank you very much for making a Scottsville doing our stay there and your night staff they’re awesome also especially the gentleman that works the desk at night very friendly very happy person very professional. We really enjoyed it.

I loved everything

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection. The location was fairly close to attractions.

Access was dicey for left turns since you had to cross thru an uncontrolled intersection. The bathroom didn't have a bath mat for outside the tub nor something inside which led to my wife falling in the shower because of a slippery floor. We told maintence and we got both a mat for outside and a rubber liner for inside. The plumbing there goes thru the walls right next to the toilet so when someone flushes, well you get the point.

Very clean throughout and water pressure was really good in the room we stayed in. Mini fidge was very cold and the microwave we didn't use but it was nice if we needed it. Pool looked nice as well. Breakfast was decent with multiple options like waffles,scrambled eggs,sausage patties, Biscuits &Gravy ,mini muffins, donut holes with plain-cinn or powdered,bread or toast,cereal,milk,yogurt, orange juice,apple juice and few other drink options as well as coffee

Breakfast ended kinda early 10am could be extended to 11am for those that are on a night shift sleep schedule. Also would love to see chocolate milk as a option. Didn't see bacon but would like to the next time we visit.

SUPER friendly staff. Receptionist named Burke? I think that was her name. Was super friendly to our family, kids included and was super helpful. She really made our stay special, and I think she should be acknowledged for how good of a job she was doing. As well as the kitchen staff, they were all helpful and kind as well. Overall, everything was comfortable, the linens smelled so good and clean.

A/C unit was leaking water onto the floor, and toilet was hard to flush. Pool water didn't seem the cleanest, it burned our eyes pretty bad, but that's it. Everything else was perfect.

A traditional breakfast of eggs and sausage was served along with waffles or mini pancakes. Toast or bagels or ceral was available. Juices and milk or coffee to drink. All was great. Room was comfortable to sleep in. The pool area is heated. It was easy for us to go place from this hotel. You can make left turns early in the morning or make u turns later in the day. We were only minutes from any of the places we wanted to go and could walk a couple blocks to some attractions.

We had a room above check in desk which was not a problem but the room was as far from the elevator as possible. One of our party could not take stairs so when I didnt ask for a room close to the elevator it took longer to go places.

The room was comfortable and clean. The location was excellent and parking was adequate. The breakfast was good consisting of scrambled eggs and waffles every day. Various sausages and biscuits and gravy were served on a rotating basis.

The wifi and internet were almose non existent in our second-floor room. Most of the time it was not even possible to sign on. Even when we were able to sign on there was no internet. Since cell phone reception was also poor, lack of good wifi was a problem.

The staff was extremely friendly and personable. The breakfast, while standard buffet, was extremely clean and well maintained. I also loved that there was free parking and had no issue with that.

Everything in the hotel is outdated. There is a weird "marble" decor on the shower walls that really gave the effect of blood stains. It was unappealing. While they tried to modernize some appliances with lamps that had USB lights they were all connected to the main light, which meant you couldn't charge your phone if all the lights were off.

Breakfast was great. The waffle machines were a huge hit with the kids.

The pool was a little too FOAMY for comfort. So we stayed out of it, but we were too busy for it to matter.

Every member of the staff we encountered was so pleasant and helpful! The room was clean and very comfortable, the pool was clean and always stocked with towels. Loved the breakfast, great selection, everything was fresh and tasted good. Spacious sitting area in the lobby for breakfast as well! And the outdoor sitting area was so comfortable! And a very special thank you to Sami at the front desk who was so accommodating! Prior to our stay, I called to confirm our special circumstances and she ensured everything was good to go. She communicated with me along the way, and made my birthday trip a wonderful success. Because of her, we are looking forward to coming back again!
