Hyatt Place Dallas North

There was a good assortment: hot and cold and I enjoyed being able to have a chai tea latte with my breakfast. The cost was excellent for the tea. The staff were also excellent. Drae connected with my grandson who is on the autism spectrum. He showed Tyler what it was like to share with others. Shannon was fabulous. Always available and caring. My last day there I was really feeling awful with allergies and had a very sore throat. Shannon had cough drops and shared with me. This was my second stay with my grandson. It just feels like home. Very warm and welcoming.

Only one day, we had difficulty finding a place to sit for breakfast because there were four buses of students there. there was a long line for breakfast. It moved quickly, so not a real problem. The one staff gave me my chai tea for free and apologized for the wait. That was so kind. My grandson likes to build forts, so in our room he squeezed between the wall and couch, a nice hiding place too. When I saw the carpet, it was filthy, so made him come out of the area. The room cleaners need to do better with cleaning in the nooks and crannies.

The hotel overall was very clean and pleasing to the eye. The elevator was a bit shaky, but I wasn't fearing for my life. Our hotel room was nice and roomy! The small living space had a nice couch to sit and socialize, the beds were very comfy.

My biggest complaint is that the breakfast was awful. I'm usually not one to complain about free food, but if I'm paying for a full hotel experience, please give a decent breakfast. Besides that, the bathroom was a bit dirty on the floor, but nothing to throw a tantrum over.

Staff was amazingly friendly. They had great culture. Crystal at reception at night and then the two guys in the morning, all were amazing. Breakfast was fresh and pretty decent esp. The scrambled eggs. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable

Bath can use better lighting. Fitness center can use a couple of yoga/stretching mats. There was sanitizing odor when you enter the hotel but you get used to it after a while. May be use some deodoroizers or air fresheners.

I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was. The facilities were clean and welcoming. Also loved the location, seemed to be super close to everything in town. I also liked how spacious the rooms were and how comfortable the bed was as well. The internet was pretty stable and reliable.

I think the rooms could've had more readily available amenities and such like slippers, robe, and or more water on hand. But other than that, it was great!

It was the perfect location! It was 15 minutes from downtown, and across from the galleria. Staff was friendly and attentive. Nice place to stay for a small getaway. I appreciated that masks were required within the lobby areas, and complimentary masks were available at the front desk.

A little disappointed that our room came with a refrigerator, but did not have an in room microwave. Housekeeping was only done on your last day of stay, and room service was no longer an option. However, I do believe this is not the normal operation of this hotel, and many of the current changes were as a result of Covid. The staff, however was very accommodating in assisting in these areas. There was a microwave at the front desk, where they would assist you in heating your food. You could also retrieve additional towels from the front desks, and if you needed bed linen or toiletries you could leave a note with the front desk and the items were delivered to your room.

property was good, bedroom was unexpectedly amazing. the lady that checked me in she was AWESOME. showed me around the lobby. I was here for me to move & I think she helped me with that amazing time

The fact that it’s far from certain places I wanted to go to but other than that. Nothing. Had a great time!

The breakfast was good. There were several choices to choose from. The room was nice and spacious. The staff were very accommodating. I would come back again.

I would like that the room had a microwave.

the location

when I called earlier in the day to inform them that the air was not working in our room. We were told to give it an hour or so we did. We got back in at 1am and it was smoking hot. They finally changed our room at 1:30am.

The 2 receptionist were very helpful. I can not remember the guys name, but he was amazing and very helpful!

The only thing I did not like was that the receptionist had told me my room could possibly be ready at 1 (I know that wasn't for sure thing) but I ended up giving more time so I went back around 2, wasn't ready, technically our check in was at 3 so we left again, came back after 3, room still wasn't available, we ended up checking in, I believe after 5 😒🙃
