Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Amarillo Airport

The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, the location was convenient, and it was quiet.

When booking the site clearly stated pets stayed free for no additional charge. We were charged a pet fee when checking in (which we agreed to without issue). When I mentioned to the front desk that the website had stated pets stayed free, she acknowledged this and that it’s not correct and they’ve asked for the website to be updated. I feel that if the hotel’s own website is incorrect, that this fee should have been waived… but that was our only complaint. The actual stay was great.

The room was very clean. The water pressure and temperature were amazing for a long, hot shower. Very convenient place to stay when traveling from Louisiana to Denver. The hotel is pet friendly but be prepared to pay a little extra. My daughter and I were traveling together and we did feel very safe there.

The only negative would be the proximity to the truck stop on one side and a house on the other but you really can’t fault the hotel for that.

Location is just off I-40, I loved how modern and updated the rooms and the lobby was. Our room was big and super clean. For the price, it really exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back for future travels. More bang for your buck! We felt safe the entire time we stayed.

The to go breakfast was just a cup of yogurt, orange juice, an apple or a banana and you can get your own coffee. They just started the breakfast this week but it's from 6AM to 9AM only.

The TV in our room was not fully functional; it would not connect to any of the local affiliate channels (like CBS). The toilet seat was broken and the door to the bathroom dragged the floor (and was water damaged at the bottom); there was no night light in the bathroom.

I loved that it is right off I-40 and is very convenient. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are big enough for my family of 5, we didn't feel cramped at all. The rooms and lobby are modern and recently renovated, very clean and we felt safe the entire time we were there.

they just recently started doing breakfast last week which is great but it is only offered from 6AM to 9AM which can be really early for some so we missed it.

I enjoyed the location and cleanliness of the hotel overall. The staff we encountered were nice and welcoming. We got in at 3 AM and checked in with no issues (we did call in advance to let them know) with our room ready. Overall, it wasn't a bad place to stay. The lobby is very nice as well.

The room we stayed in, the bathroom ceiling was a bit busted and smelled like mold. The shower curtain was missing a lining so it soaked the floor or there was a leak underneath the tub. The blankets were also thin.

The queen suite was one of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in at the price point. A great value, with upclass amenities.

Someone checked in right above us and they were extremely heavy footed, stomping around for about an hour after we had gone to bed for the night. Loud, noisy pacing. Maybe kids jumping off the beds onto the floor? The breakfast was pretty lame - the apple was mushy, inedible.

Well, it was good but not too much. Wasn’t sure what to expect with everything going on. It was fine though.

They charged us $5 for parking and we didn’t even have a car! They never asked if we had a car and we didn’t mention it because of course, we didn’t have one. Family dropped us off and Uber picked us up. Not good at all, especially with no warning or asking in the first place.

We were delighted with our accommodations at Fairfield Inn and Suites in Amarillo. Check in was quick and uncomplicated and staff were very friendly. Our room was larger than most with a clean, roomy bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the Paul Mitchell toiletries. And the best thing is that they are pet friendly with no additional charge! There was a very nice area to walk our dog. We will stay again!

Breakfast wasn't much to wake up for due to Covid restrictions. I liked the separate living space in which to watch tv or do desk work. When we were in Dallas we fell in love, for the first time, with Fairfield. The property we stayed at was new and they had gorgeous showers with floor to ceiling glass doors, a flat shower floor with a cool metal drain for the shower that was so sleek and modern and clean. We were a little disappointed that the Fairfield in Amarillo did not have the same bathroom set up.
