Hotel ZaZa Dallas

The hotel is beautiful. I have stopped many times for drinks and appetizers. This was my first time to stay at the hotel. Having the coffee stations is a good idea, but why can't you have regular cream (not half/half) or milk. Soy and oat milks?? It was nice to have slippers and a robe. And they turned down my bed. The valet guys were courteous and prompt to retrieve your car. I was disappointed because on the room service menu it doesn't state there is a $5 delivery fee nor an automatic 3% room charge. Why didn't they have music Friday night to party at the pool? It was so dead at night over the weekend. What is the Metropolitan Club?

The loud rock music at the pool at 11 am. They should have played that loud music Friday night by the pool. I left the pool, didn't care for loud rock music, Smooth jazz my style. NO music over the weekend at night. I don't like soy or oat milk. Need to get rid of room service charges. BTW I did tip the delivery man $6 cash. Open the pool earlier. How about offering a cool drink and a cold towel at check in since it's so hot. I expected more from ZAZA.

First-rate customer service and clean, well-designed rooms with comfortable beds. Always great showers with plenty of hot water.. Dragonfly Restaurant is known for good food, especially the breakfast. Lovely fountain-style pool area for relaxation but still big enough for kids to swim around. Usually a mix of couples and families.. Of all the ZaZa's in Texas, this is my favorite.

Wish pool and food service to pool stayed open an hour longer. Also every time we've stayed here there have been some late night revelers. If they end up next door to you there will be some spillover noise. Rooms are pretty well insulated though.

We were attending a burial at the Greenwood Cemetery which was 3 blocks away so it was very convenient. Also we had flowers for the burial and because of the heat, we were unable to store then overnight in our car... the hotel gladly stored them in an air conditioned room.

Nothing to not like. We had 2 teenagers with us and so spent time in the pool which had floating flamingos! and pink beach balls. We were the only ones in the pool, so the kids had a wonderful time.

The room and amenities were exceptionally clean.

The front desk girls were not pleasant at all. The lady had placed us in the wrong room intentionally after we had already upgraded to a different room with a balcony beforehand. When confronting the front desk lady, she had told us that the room we had upgraded to was not right and that it was not supposed to have a balcony. While she did give us the room that we upgraded to, specifically for the balcony, she was extremely rude about the whole situation. I presented my room confirmation # and the picture and what it featured.

The staff is fantastic. So friendly, helpful and welcoming. All of the valet workers are so nice and fun. Its the little things like putting cold water in your car when they bring the car to you. Beds are so comfortable. Rooms are huge and so clean. Coffee service on each floor by the elevator so you don't have to go all the way downstairs to get it

Wish they had free water in the rooms. $5 is ridiculous.

location was perfect. excellent deal. staff was so amazing and courteous. valet and bar staff really made our stay top notch. world class service those guys and gals working the bar and valet. loved them. property def safe for women and people of color.

property could use a few updates but also respect that the aesthetic is eclectic and timeless so not a huge deal just wish showers were nicer and bathroom had better lighting.

Very quiet for being so close to downtown. Room was very large and nicely decorated (I had a double, not one of the themed rooms). Staff was excellent and very helpful. Valet parking was also very fast and the bottles of water in the car were a nice touch. I also got a free lift to a nearby location, so that was a great extra.

A little hard to find since the address didn't match up with where my navigator directed me to go. I don't think self-parking is an option. Not a big deal for me, but others might find it so.

Everything from the moment we arrive was wonderful. Your valet staff is exceptional as well as your front desk (Madison) and we spent the day at the pool and I wish I could remember his name but our server/bartender was a rockstar! You are so lucky to have such awesome staff I hope they are treated well.

Valet cost was a little steep in my opinion considering it is the only option for your hotel I would've tipped the valet more if it was a little less.

Breakfast was great. Room service delivered on time. Liked the butler pantry for coffee in the morning. Room was spacious. Staff friendly and helpful. Shuttle service really great to have!

Wish the rooms had queens instead of doubles. They were very small for two people- as a family we had a kiddo with one adult. Could hear the above neighbors walking which was bothersome at times as our schedules did not align.

I really liked the vibe of Hotel ZaZa from moment we walked. We arrived in the afternoon, there was free wine and fresh cookies, what's not to like. I loved the décor of the hotel which is super funky. The valets and front desk staff were all wonderful in greeting us when we arrived and making us feel welcome. We really enjoyed the restaurant within the hotel, the breakfast was super nice (especially the weekend menu), it was lively on the weekend with guests and regular patrons and a nice place for a night cap. The bed is AMAZING! My husband and I are both funny about pillows and these are top notch! The location in Uptown Dallas is really great for walking around to see various sites and restaurants. Some are further than others, but if you don't mind a nice walk then there is no issue. Overall, it is a great place and would recommend.

There is only a few things that I can nitpick about, one of those being that you have to request for the maid service to come in and clean. We stayed 5 nights, after a couple days we requested they come in; unfortunately we were still in the room when they came and just them come back after we left shortly. When we returned that evening, they had not come back and again we had to request for them to come. This time they did come but they did not replace any of the towels, so again had to call to get a full set of towels. As far as value for money, I do think that it's more on the expensive side for it being a slightly older building and staying in one of the regular rooms as opposed to the theme rooms.
