Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dallas Fort Worth Airport South, an IHG Hotel

The location was great and the room was really clean. The lady working the front desk was really sweet and welcomed us. The pool was also nice and spacious.

The shuttle driver that picked us up from the airport that afternoon was very rude. He accused me of calling the wrong hotel and wanted me to "prove" that I called the right one by showing him the phone number I called. He also smarted off to my mother who is hard of hearing by telling her that he asked her something four times. I was not happy with him. The shuttle driver we had the morning we checked out was wonderful.

Great location, easy landing, helpful staff, the pool was a great temperature, the beds and spacing of the room was ideal, the breakfast was less than amazing, but the breakfast staff was so nice!

The breakfast had so many filler ingredients - so much corn starch, thickeners, preservatives. The quality of the food is really different from any I have experienced with this company before. I think an overhaul of the food, with fresh and healthy, real ingredients would make this place the perfect stay!

The property was clean, very friendly staff. It was almost the perfect location, centralized to our activities while visiting with my family during spring break.

Maybe it’s only this way in a select few rooms but the bathroom was very small in our room. We didn’t need a large bathroom but to some it may be a big deal you have to stand between the toilet and shower to open the door from inside the bathroom.

The front desk clerk at check in told me they would place a $35 charge on my credit card for incidentals. They instead placed a $75 charge. She was not too friendly. Upon entering The toilet paper holder in room 313 was on the floor. It had come loose and was just left on floor. We reported this to desk on departure. The gentleman at check out was very nice. Sure beat the evening lady!

The room was very clean with a comfortable bed… perfect for an overnight layover from DFW.

The breakfast looked amazing, but it was just starting at 7:00 am on a Saturday so I didn’t have time to eat due to my 7:00 o’clock airport shuttle. I probably could have grabbed something to go but didn’t want to keep the other passengers waiting. (This was my flight schedule issue and in no way the fault of the hotel.)

We were stranded in Dallas for a night and the hotel was convenient to the airport, clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were courteous. As with most airport hotels it's not about the view or the luxury, but for a night or two stay, particularly for business, it is more than adequate. Complimentary breakfast was typical of mid range chain hotels.

Can't say anything negative. All was as expected and just fine.

I loved how Mrs. Maxine made sure that everything was right for my son and I and then made sure to let us know about the hot breakfast and times!!! she showed compassion and when I told her about the first hotel and how it wasn’t up to standards!! she said book the one you see online and make my way to her location!!!! she stood by her word and I’ll be Booking here for all my trips to Texas!!!! this staff is awesome!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🎉🎉

Great location, near the airport. Great shuttle service! We had to be at airport the next morning before shuttle service was offered but the driver set us up with a private taxi to get us to the airport on time. We Stayed at Holiday Inn North coming into DFW and were very disappointed! Will definitely stay at SOUTH again!

All Customer service was great! Hospitality was amazing mostly have to applaud and credit Salaia she was just amazingly friendly she went above and beyond always smiled and greeted everyone she really gave the face of this hotel! Great breakfast , room was big and comfortable, & clean

One elevator was not working but that’s understandable things happen

This hotel is fairly close to the airport. The transport van took about 15 minutes drive. The mattress and sheets were surprising quality and feel.

it’s right on the freeway and I got the last room on the freeway side, but I was fortunate and happy to get it.
