Ashmore Inn and Suites Lubbock

Front desk staff was very friendly. I had problems with the restroom they helped immediately. Gave me lots of extra towels. I left a two hundred dollar pair of shoes there overnight. When I called the next morning, management Made sure to put them away so they could be picked up. Will definitely be staying the next time I visit lubbock to visit my daughter at texas tech. The pool was nice , hot tub as well. Air conditioning worked well in the room,. Definitely a great value for a pleasant stay.

Air conditioning had a burnt kind of smell, but that had nothing to do with the staff. Perhaps an older unit.

Price was fair. Location decent and easy to get to by a Walmart, Applebee's and IHOP. Staff is always friendly even when booking.com overbooks the place at times which is not their fault. It's not a chain or at least it doesn't feel like one and their pretty fair about everything. We've been their multiple times and will probably return again.

Breakfast ended officially at 9am which seemed a little early but they still offered food even if you were a little late so they were nice about it. The breakfast itself offers biscuits n gravy scrambled eggs and sausage patties, waffles with cereal, oatmeal yogurt coffee, milk, and juice. It's not fancy but it's fair. Breakfast can get busy at times so be patient.

Rooms were clean. It was very quiet. I did not hear the doors closing or people in the hallway like we normally do in a hotel. Clerks at the front were very nice.

There was a note saying that due to short staff issues the rooms would not be cleaned. If we needed towels we were to let them know the day before. We requested new towels and never recieved them so I called and I had to go the front desk to get them. The only rooms that are cleaned is if you are an extended stay customer.

I love that I feel safe in a comfortable, yet affordable hotel when visiting my daughter in college. Although your place is very outdated, it has well kept grounds nestled in beautiful neighborhood and Walmart is next door but far enough way to keep unwanted visitors. PLUS, Your staff is superb!

This seems silly - but please get bigger coffee cups at breakfast time, bigger pillows on the bed or more than 2 - they look like couch pillows. Hot tub area needs a little sprucing up also...we love to stick our feet in before bed and this last time it felt sticky and smelly.

The bed was perfectly firm, the room was clean, very large and comfortable. Breakfast food was OK but no fruit. The young gal was delightful, very friendly with a great disposition. Location was excellent.

No room service, we stayed for 4 nights. We had to ask for extra towels, coffee etc. No soap in kitchen, no paper towels etc. I didn't like the fluctuation of prices for each night, it ranged from $129.00 to $199.00

We Love the Staff #1. They are so good and caring. Make you feel like home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool is clean and enjoyable. We have now stayed here 4 times since May because of our travel boys Basketball team and won't stay anywhere else.

We all agree that we like everything, but we would like a little more diversity in the breakfast.

Breakfast was fairly limited. Staff was great, but all they were serving was powdered scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, toast, waffles, and cereal. The half and half was a carton that had to be handled at the mouth where you pour from. Very unsanitary with COVID still hanging around.

No where in our booking was there a place to claim our pet at a “pet friendly” hotel. When we checked out and received our receipt electronically, we noticed a $25 charge for a pet. Not happy with the lack of advertising the fee for a pet. I definitely would have looked for another hotel.

It was very easy to find, right off the highway but far enough to be quiet. Lots of parking, walking distance to Walmart and several restaurants. Stayed 4 nights but only had the breakfast once. It was so-so. IHOP & Krispy Creme were very close. Room was clean except for dusty window sill but I think everything in Lubbock is dusty. They had a washer and dryer down the hall, an indoor hot tub, outdoor pool & exercise room. There was no happy hour which was listed in description. The one thing we found odd was that maid service does not come everyday and they didn’t make the beds when they came. Price was good on booking.com.

We used the pool and it was clean so that is always a plus! Lori checked us in and she was super friendly I can’t remember the guys name that checked us out but he as super nice as well!

The room was outdated and the balcony rail was loose. The bathroom definitely needed more towels & the room got hot even with the ac on.

The staff were attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

When we turned on the heat the heater had an old burning smell. We were a little nervous to leave it on, until the room became uncomfortably cold. When we left it on, the room heated pretty fast and we were comfortable.
