The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was huge. Desk staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was average or slightly better. Pretty good coffee.

Hotel feels a little tired. During the recent rebranding, signs on walls were replaced very poorly. Every corner in the hotel has been beat up and is showing wear. No water pressure from the bathroom sink. On the first day of my stay there was man and woman fighting in the lobby and out into the parking lot very loudly. Walked out on my balcony and it had definitely not been cleaned. I found a water bottle with cigarette butts in it and then several loose butts laying on the ground. It was pretty gross.

I normally stay at Hampton Inns. It’s just easy, I know what I am getting. Decided to try the La Quinta on 62nd and if you are a Hampton Inn fan and in the Lubbock area, save your money and reserve your room at the La Quinta. It was every bit as excellent as any Hampton Inn I have stayed at. Clean, clean, clean. Customer service above and beyond at the front desk and in the kitchen/lobby the next morning. Rooms updated. Spacious bathroom with tub, keurig coffeemaker in room, very comfortable and clean beds. The next time I need to stay in a hotel my first choice will be La Quinta.

My stay at this La Quinta was above and beyond my expectations. I loved everything about my stay.

the stay was nice, affordable, perfect for our trip. comfortable beds- roomy rooms. the two ladies I checked in and out with were great. the breakfast lady was amazing and friendly.

the elevators were a little unnerving and one was shut down during our stay because someone get stuck and the fire department was called. the bathroom door stuck at the top where it was difficult to close or open. there were lose tiles in the bathroom. the mini fridge was frozen and froze drinks we put in it. the bathroom sink faucet didn’t look like it had been cleaned. there was very little toilet paper and no replacement in the room.

Day manager Christina was especially friendly and accommodating. And I appreciated that the staff continually cleaned and refilled during the breakfast.

Can’t think of anything I would have changed. We had no “view” outside our window, but it made no difference to us.

So clean! So quiet! Comfortable! Usually hotels are louder; you can hear other guests. Our room was quiet! you couldn’t even hear other guests turn their shower on! I love it and will definitely return!!!

The breakfast could’ve flowed a bit better. And it ran out pretty quickly. But it was a delicious spread. Waffles; scrambled eggs; sausage; biscuits, gravy; yogurt; whole fruit; toast; juice and coffee

Close to everything. Perfect location. Very clean and comfortable.

Breakfast. We came down at 8:30 and found almost nothing on the buffet. Potatoes were gone, biscuits were cold, sausages that had just been brought from kitchen were cold on the inside. Found out later that breakfast ends at 9…. lots of other guests were coming down to eat thinking it stayed open until 10… just to leave with an empty stomach.

Clean and everything we needed. Cassie, our receptionist was especially nice and helpful, and Christina was so friendly and nice in the morning when we met her. The breakfast super delicious and complete! WE WILL stay at this wonderful place if we ever visit our granddaughter in San Antonio again!

NO thing was lacking, very satisfied in every way.

Quite room, hotel style with indoor corridor, very clean. Quality facilities. Lounge area, and outdoor space. Close to restaurants and quality shops. Easy parking.

Unfortunately the hot tub was cold and waiting repair. Be great when done. Microwave needs to be relocated as not much space to work when using a laptop.

I stayed in a disability room. It was excellent for my needs. I appreciated the tile flooring instead of carpeting. The bed was very comfortable and there was a ceiling fan! I run the fan all year long at home so that was a nice touch.

The shower was very well equipped for persons with a disabilty but it was cold in the bathroom! The water was good and hot though.

Exceptionally clean, comfortable rooms!

The only small complaint would be the hose on the handicap shower needs to be longer. My mother could not sit on the bench and reach the shower head with the hose to rinse off. She had to stand and walk closer to the faucet, which can be hazardous for someone that is handicap. It would be an easy fix!
