Residence Inn by Marriott San Antonio North Stone Oak

When we checked in we had an ac issue with our room and Alexandria was very helpful and polite. She offered us a fan after we opted out of changing rooms ( we had our children) we had a 2 bedroom suite and felt it wouldn't be ok to be on 2 separate rooms. About 20 mons later I received a call from the front desk explaining they had found us another 2 bedroom suite and said the keys were ready. The pool was fun for the kids and the facilities were very clean. But the customer service was exceptionally great!

We chose the property because it offered a 2 bedroom apartment with breakfast included and was close enough to six flags. We arrived very late at the hotel and our 2 bedroom was overbooked. The guy at the reception in the evening was not so patient and he was in a bad mood. He explained the problem and said he would see how to solve it. We were a party of 7, with 4 very tired kids at 11pm. He managed to fix by giving us 2 x1 bedroom apartments and we were fine with that. However at the moment, it wasn’t really explained to us the cost and because of his lack of patience and the late in the evening we decided not to ask and just take the offer regardless. The rooms offered were very comfortable and clean and he actually did a good jog in putting us in rooms close to each other. Part of our group (not booked through booking.com) was staying in another 1bedroom apartment and their feedback was that their room was old, the sofa bed very uncomfortable and not clean. Ours were in very good shape and looked modernized however we did not use the sofa bed. During check out we had Dale at the reception and he made a totally opposite impression than we had in the evening before. He was happy, positive, he listened to us and he even gave my friend a discount on the room she stayed in due to her complaints.So many thanks to him as he totally turned around our experience to a very good one. - Dale for sure was the best thing! - bed was comfortable - location with many restaurants around - price - clean - quiet and safe - room is spacious

The breakfast is a shame- a bag with water, instant oatmeal, a muffin and a rotten banana We had to figure out in a large group what to do at 9am when we found out the quality of breakfast and one of the reasons we chose this hotel was the easiness we would have to feed all the kids all at once with some basics: bread, eggs, milk, fruits, which were not available for us. We ended up at Mc Donald’s drive thru to be able to get quickly to six flags for the day.

the kitchen. it saved us lots of money by being able to eat there instead of having to eat out all the time

there was no hot water. the water would get warm but not hot. when it was brought up the desk clerk said they would fix it or move us. it wasn’t fixed Rico was awesome though. he did try to help us as much as he could

The size of the room was awesome, staff was wonderful and helpful when it came to checking inn from an online booking app.

The room was beautiful and very comfortable however the carpet was slightly dirty, found some trash under restroom sink proving lack of proper vacuuming in the room.

I love the location as it provided access to everything that I needed in the community
