Super 8 by Wyndham San Antonio Airport North

Fair price, good location

Room was dusty, hair on bathroom floor and shower, breakfast very limited. No selection of anything appetizing. Just toast, waffles and cereal.

Place was nice and pretty clean overall. No roaches or anything which was nice. Overall worth the money, but In my opinion just a little too expensive for what they have to offer.

Breakfast was so bland and I never thought I’d actually complain about hotel breakfast but it’s basically 3 items and that’s it. Can’t even make a full breakfast. Staff wasn’t too bad just oddly keep an eye on you for some reason and housekeeping will “snitch” on you for having a service dog and tell the front desk, being nosey. Didn’t have to pay the pet fee but that was after they attempted to get me to. And they almost “forgot” my cash deposit lol.

The room is very comfortable, the large TV screen & premium channels are great too! Beds/ bedding SUPER comfortable and the 3 King size pillows on each bed are SUPER great! If you're coming here to rest, it's perfect. Quiet. Clean and fragrant everywhere in the hotel. Beautiful gazebo outside with 2 swings & picnic tables as well as BBQ pits. Nice area!

The "breakfast" lacks variety. The options are few. We were here for a total of 4 days. Asked for a late checkout & it seems there's no wiggle room for that. At all. Had issues with payment by a 3rd party (Pastor from church) with the front desk and made it inconvenient for all of us.

Nice room and clean. Coffee maker boiled but coffee would not come out. And phone had no dial tone and did not work. Breakfast was simple and fast every day, but Sunday cause a lot more guest were in the breakfast area. And one waffle iron moves slow with a crowd. Other two mornings fast and easy. Just fact coffee make boiled the water, but must have been stopped up cause only a couple drops of liquid went into cup. Also phone had no dial tone and I could not call with any questions. Minor inconvenience, so I walked down.

safe looking area, good lighting on the driveway and parking areas. Hotel entrance was clean and staff was friendly and professional. Hot coffee available 24hrs in the lobby. Room was clean and stocked, beds and pillows were comfortable. We needed an overnight place as just passing through the area and was not looking for a super fancy place to spend a few days, but this hotel is definitely one that I’d stay at if we were in the area longer.

A car owned by one of the staff consumes two spots under the overhang at the lobby. They should pull the car forward or backwards more so that a guest can park more easily while loading or unloading.

The hotel is very clean and nothing compared to other reviews I seen before booking you have to try it before speaking bad about it so I did and I was amazed.

There isn't much or nothing really at all that I didn't like if you're looking for something close to the Riverwalk or the city center this isn't the hotel now if you don't mind driving for the price you pay and what you get you will be amazed also since it's not by the city center you don't have to worry about people late at night possibly damaging your vehicle or even breaking in.

We stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful place . it was so very clean , smelled clean and looked clean ! full Daily cleaning service is always a plus and this one did not disappoint us ! We have stayed at 3 other hotels within 3 miles of this one and none offered half of the services or cleanliness of this property , and the others reek of cigarette smoke , and were so filthy I had to clean the room myself before even staying ! I highly recommend Wyndham Super 8 , you will not be disappointed in this property ! We will be returning 😊

There is nothing negative I can honestly say about this property . very comfortable Bed , Large Tv , large bathroom with nice bathtub and shower , plenty of Hot water , nothing negative at all .

Breakfast was a bonus. It was in a great space to get where we needed to go… The staff was pretty nice and helpful. Having a fridge and microwave in my room with children was very helpful and awarding….also when I walked in it smelled so good… that was a huge things.

Need to more towels. I did ask for a set of 5 but I don’t know if they told house keeping or not. We did get fresh towels just had to go out in the middle of the night to ask for more.

Want to give a big shout out to the gentleman that was working the front desk. He went above and beyond to assist us and always had a big smile and a "how are you doing" for us. Sorry but did not get his name. The room was smaller but very clean and comfortable. Housekeeping checked with us about needing room service or additional towels even though there was a sign posted stating because of staff shortage daily room service was suspended. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again when in town. Only downside was breakfast had been suspended because of covid regulations that had been established by the city ordinances.

Really no complaints for this stay.

Beds and pillows are super comfy and very quiet area. Even though next to freeway, we are far enough back that you didn't hear the traffic at all. Loved having a fridge and microwave in the rooms. Vending machines we stocked well and the staff at the front desk were very friendly.

Breakfast could have had more options, which is what others have said also. It wouldn't make or break our return stay, but would help others.
