It was exactly what it should have been. A very decent room for a very decent price.

I hated how most of the property was bought out for cheap housing :/ leaving only a fraction of rooms.

Larger room and clean. No parking fees! Travel plans changed with us needing to reduce days from the original booking. Staff told me I would need to call Booking.com to make changes, which I did without issue. Rodeway mgr went above and beyond to communicate with us about refunds and details of the changes. This was appreciated.

Older facility, very small bathroom, no shampoos offered, bar soap only. No breakfast offerings.

The owners was delivering kindness the whole time UNFORTUNATELY the wife completely ruins the whole experience.She’s rude, does not even try to hide it or her dislike for people in general. She rambled on about personal things, personal complaints, personal views on the world so it was very uncomfortable not to mention unprofessional. She made the experience feel unwelcome and rushed out upon checkout. She entered the room, which I cleaned prior to leaving, to clean it as I was leaving and sitting in the parking lot. She was throwing my sheets out on the sidewalk shaking her head “no” and scowling. Mind you these two owners do ALL of the jobs from check in to housekeeping laundry everything. I think that can wear any business owner down, I can relate. However i’m so tired of these cliche hotel owners treating people like inconveniences rather than the people who pay for those two nice vehicles out front that they drive and support their business altogether. Plus when I called ahead of time to check the pet fee and the husband and owner stated that it was $25 per stay. As I went to extend my reservation, she told me it was per day so there I was paying the $25 every day. However, she didn’t charge me on the third day so inconsistency speaks the truth. Nickel and dimeing people is such a turn off. Overall, the rooms were impressively clean, but the customer service and ambience and hospitality were zero due to the one person who is like cancer and can spread and ruin everything.

The attendant was helpful and very courteous.

The address was advertised and booked as a Rodeway Inn. When I arrived, the attendant stated that the property transitioned over to Badger Lodge seven months ago and the reservation was invalid even though the reservation was made only a week prior. It looked as though my party was the only guests there. The floors were dirty, no hot water, outlets were able to be pulled out of the walls when unplugging chargers.... very disappointed and unsatisfied.

Everything I needed up not staying because the pictures were not what the place looked like
