Bowen Motel

As are most of the hotels in Moab, this one is on the main street with lots of traffic. While they provide ear plugs (!) a better solution is to just turn the A/C fan on "continuous" - then there is no street noise in the room. This is a well-maintained property with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, microwave and refrigerator. Plenty of room for one or two people. Moab is small enough that you can walk just about anywhere you want to go in town, welcome after a long drive.

I found the microwave operation rather inscrutable, but eventually got it to do what I wanted it to do.

What a great experience! The service was friendly and thoughtful. The room was immaculate. They provided little extras that made the stay a little nicer--ear plugs and herbal tea (in case we couldn't sleep), recliner chairs (in king bed room), free washer/ dryer, vending machines that were very reasonably priced,. They are located on Main street, which was very convenient. We could walk to dozens of restaurants. The downside, of course was that there is a lot of road noise. Providing ear plugs and herbal teas is a sweet way to recognize this and do what they can to address it. We were so tired from our trips to the park, I only needed them one night!

This motel is off main st, couldn’t be more convenient! I’m also someone with severe fragrance allergies, and though I believe they used a fabric softener with a scent, it seemed to be hypoallergenic. they are an extremely eco-conscious establishment as well which we really appreciated! I also loved the venmo tip WR code for cleaning staff. they deserve it with how well kept the place js.

If the laundry supplies (detergents, softeners, etc) are not hypoallergenic, I would hope they would switch to something unscented just to avoid anxiety and worry! otherwise, our stay was perfect.

Incredible location, just a short walk to anything you could need like groceries, food trucks, shops. We found everything we needed in the room. 2 mirrors and sinks were helpful for getting ready in the morning. We requested a quiet room when we booked and were provided that upon check in, which was appreciated.

Situated on a main road, so there is traffic noise all day and night, but it wasn't too bad. We slept with earplugs each night just in case.

Incredibly nice staff, very helpful! Super nice room, the pool was big and super clean, so were the rooms. The fact that you can do your own laundry for free on site is a big plus and soooo nice after a long day of hiking in the national parks nearby! Even though it's really close to the main street, we found it quite quiet.

There was an unpleasant smell every time we entered the room, it smelled as if the whole room was damp or had been closed for a long period of time sadly. No matter how long we left our room door open, the smell just wouldn't budge.

The hotel is family run and you can tell; the owner and staff were exceptionally helpful and really pleasant. The room is clean. Our room was in the single story area and off the road. We slept well. There is a Kurig coffee machine in the room; the owner showed me how to work it because I use a different machine at home. Also there are several breakfast, lunch and dinner places steps away. Also there is a market within walking distance and a refrigerator in the room.

We liked everything!

Great location and facilities. We were on a girl's trip for a weekend and had plenty of room and the beds were comfy. I especially liked that there was warm bedding as I was with others who enjoy sleeping in a colder environment. We all got the best of both worlds. Hotel is within walking distance to many food options (I recommend Quesadilla Mobilla). This is the second year staying here and I would come back and stay again.

Parking lot seemed tight - but I was always able to find parking.

the location is superb. shuttle stop is right next by and walkable distance to many shops and restaurants. i have to mention their wonderful laundry facility. IT IS FREE as long as you can wait for your turn patients (cuz they only have one washer and dryer) will definitely stay here next time.

having the car parked right in front of the door is a BIG plus but we unfortunately got a room right next to the main street. it's very sweet of the hotel to provide two pairs of ear plugs in the room. WIFI signal could be improved to get A+ rating.

Very basic room but incredibly clean. Comfortable bed and pillows with good quality linens. They offer free ear plugs to compensate for street noise and noise from room above. (Who does that??!!) Stacey at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with--Had to cut my trip short due to weather concerns, and was refunded for the unused days, no hassle. What a pleasant surprise!! Even received a follow-up phone call to confirm this. Already looking forward to my next stay here.

Heater did not have an option for constant fan (helps with noise). A previous room I had stayed in here did.

Almost everything - the staff are so helpful and friendly. It was super clean, the room was enormous and had everything you could ask for. The location couldn't be better and despite it being off-season, I still found the price an absolute bargain given that you can still explore all the nearby outdoors this time of year easily.

Just one issue - the floors are super creaky and unfortunately if you're directly below someone on the floor above, you can hear every step and they're incredibly loud.. Not good for light sleepers. This wasn't a problem until my last night when the guests staying above me decided 4:50AM was a good time to constantly walk around their room and talk loudly... For over an hour. Unbelievable. Not the motels fault, just bad luck.
