This beautiful hotel is like 'home away from home' and a must stay when visiting Moab. From the minute you arrive, you are greeted with kind and professional assistance. The rooms are beautifully presented, spacious, well appointed and the outdoor balcony is lovely. The bed was superbly comfortable, super soft linens and the feather pillows are a treat. We utilized the pool and hot tub which were also spotlessly clean and so relaxing after hiking in Arches National Park, which is an easy 10 minute drive from The Gonzo. We also loved Cafe Italiano which is conjoining the hotel and has great coffee, delicious paninis and all the staff were so welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay here.

Breakfast, which is included in the room rate, is up to USD 14, which can be converted into a meal at the bar. I ate Turkie Pannini, it was good. Don't choose other items, such as waffles with maple syrup, they are reheated and not made fresh like most hotels in the USA do, it is not worth paying for it. When I asked the bar staff why the waffles weren't fresh and crispy, the lady from the staff replied that they have them because they have a lot of older customers and they make sure that the crispy waffle doesn't get in between them... a good story, but for someone stupid or naive, it outraged me, this approach to the customer. They buy it ready-made in the store and heat it up. Apart from that, the hotel is worth recommending.

A king room with a sitting room and kitchenette. The room was clean and large. Both rooms also had a balcony overlooking the pool. ( some rooms overlooked the parking lot so be sure to ask about location). The Gonzo Inn was in a perfect location. On the edge of town so not crazy busy with folks walking around and within a few blocks of lots of restaurants and shops. We had breakfast included which was provided at the Italiano Cafe attached to the Inn. We received a voucher each day for $14 to spend in the Cafe. Prices were reasonable so that was sufficient for breakfast. A great stay for us in June 2023. We recommend the Gonzo Inn.

the hotel is well located in the city of moab it has comfortable large rooms and a very nice pool the reception staff is also very nice

Only problem I had was the breakfast where the hotel offers as part of the breakfast a voucher for 14$ per person you usually have to pay extra especially for drinks and the bill gets much bigger. Bad situation happened because my son ordered a waffle, and received something that looked like a waffle but was neither fresh nor crunchy nor tasty, when asked to the lady serving, why the waffle is like that, that lady są, because we has many older customers and they are so soft and not brittle they don't get between their teeth 😀 good story, farytail story, but I don't know how stupid you have to be not to know that these waffles are bought in a store and then at most reheated also at breakfast. I recommend caution in the restaurant

Location was wonderful! It’s in the middle of town and you can walk to restaurants and shops but backside faces on a quiet street that leads to a park along the creek. We took our dogs for a walk every morning right out of our patio. Our room was clean, everything looked like new. Staff was so nice, we could tell they care about their place and its customers. We had a great time in Moab because of Gonzo inn.

Breakfast starts at 7 and it gets a bit busy but we never had to wait more than 5-7minutes. For a great cup of coffee and tasty hot sandwiches, that’s not bad at all.

excellent property and staff - they were all super helpful and pleasant. nice on-site breakfast-cafe, out door patio tables combination. location good for local restaurant access and walkability to all places in Moab. rooms set up well with balconies-terraces, fridge, nice beds, walk-in shower, large flat screen, modern AC. Laundry a plus after 5 day desert bike trek.

the rooms are not well insulated for sound. I spent 3 nights there on two stays during the same week; 2 at a ground level room and could hear every footstep of a very active room above me. the one night stay on a 2nd floor room was much quieter.

I stayed in the king suite and was pleasantly surprised by how large it was. The bedroom had a door separating it from the living room, and there were balconies off of both the bedroom and the living area. The attached coffee shop was very convenient and a light breakfast was included in the rate. The location was excellent. It was about a block off the main drag, which meant it was both quiet and walkable to all of the shops and restaurants. Finally, the staff was very friendly and genuinely helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice suite with big bedroom and separate living room. Comfortable chairs on terrace. Sofabed was also very comfortable. Good shower. Very good breakfast options and great service in breakfast restaurant.

Room was clean, however space under sofabed seemed not cleaned (old tissues). Coffeemachine in room but only decaf coffee, no normal coffee. No kettle or waterboiler to make tea, you have to use the coffee machine. Hotel charges guarantee that will be refunded after few days. Credit card fees of this guarantee (and exchange rates) have to be taken into account when comparing prices.

Very clean, pool was perfect temperature. Walkable to downtown restaurants and shops. Short drive to Canyonland and Arches. Liked having outside sitting area either balcony or small patio. Trees, grass and situated off side street not on main road. Ordered sandwiches to take with us hiking from the cafe, they were very good. Would definitely stay again.

Voucher system for breakfast was okay but would be nice to choose any item from main menu and a drink then pay extra if you wanted additional items.

Nice, cozy boutique inn. Comfortable rooms with plenty of natural lighting. Inn is near city center, but off the main drag. walking paths all around the inn and the town. Breakfast was better than most, and you received a $14 voucher each day per per, covered most of the cost. (minus tax & tip). Staff is ALL very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable for me (soft), but my husband prefers a firmer mattress and said it was a little uncomfortable for him.

The daylight LED bulbs in the rooms are terrible.
