Quality Inn Downtown

The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed in my room. I appreciated the ease of entering and exiting. The staff was friendly, polite, and helpful.

The building and rooms need maintenance. The shower in Room 321 needs to be caulked along the floor, especially since the water tends to run down outside onto the floor by the shower nozzles. The screw holding the toilet seat down was loose. The elevator is quite scuffed, there are chips in the floors and walls, etc. Making the structure look better will increase the value and feeling of the building.

Location was perfect close to several dining, convenience store. Quiet location. Traveling as a single woman concerned about safety at night. I noticed one evening coming in close to 10pm they lock all door downstairs only to be opened with your room card key. Front desk was very watchful to everyone coming in and questioned those that were not registered visitors. That made me feel secure. Gandhi was very helpful, very nice man, funny, jokester. Ross was also very helpful with questions directions Wifi assistance.

The female receptionist in the morning was friendly & helpful, allowing me to store my case at the hotel before my check in, to save me having to drag it around with me. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Location is good, close to the main downtown attractions

The male receptionist in the afternoon was unfriendly & unwillingly to help too much. When I asked if he could ring for a taxi for the following morning, he just handed me a card with a number. I explained my booking came with breakfast but I was going to the airport very early & asked if I might be able to get a pack up to take away (like other hotels do), he just said 'no, breakfast is 6 til 9'. He clearly couldn't be bothered to actually check.

Our online reservation through Expedia was about $70 for the night, so we knew this would not be a new, luxurious facility. We asked for a non-smoking room, but when we opened the door to our room, there was a very strong odor. We called the front desk and they moved us to another room that had no unpleasant odors at all. Our room had a tv, refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, and sample personal products. The room was clean, including the bathtub, and the AC worked and was not overly noisy. The bed was comfortable.

Would have preferred not having to change rooms, but very glad that the issue was promptly rectified.

The room was clean and fairly comfortable. I always check for bed bugs on the mattress before I put my belongings on the bed. The mattress did not have a cover but it was clear from bugs. I checked all the way around the mattress and it is a little firm for my taste. The breakfast was toast, muffins or waffles. It was okay, but really wanted some fruit. It's a really good location so if you just need a place to sleep this is affordable, clean and fairly comfortable.

The facilities we on the cleaner side but not squeaky clean. The bottom side of my toilet had pee all over it and it smelled up the bathroom until I found the issue and sanitized it. The AC also would shoot debris all over when it was turned on.

Great location! (Literally just down the hill from the U of U hospital & across the street from a gas station) Very convenient! The breakfast was amazing! (Items included: waffles, hot & cold cereal, coffee, 3 kinds of juices & more)

The vending machine seemed a little understocked.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a small laundry room, but adequate to take care of some laundry. The location is close to the shelters where we live. Having the Maverick store right across the street is a plus. It was quiet even being a Saturday and Sunday night. Overall we're happy with our stay.

It was just a little too high priced the first night. But the second night the price came down a bit. I still wish the first night wasn't nearly $120. We stayed due to the price but for an older hotel it would've been nice to save a little more money. Especially without the pool, hot tub, and breakfast not included due to covid. Didn't seem real fair. Also, the satellite TV didn't work great. Would love them to refund something anyway. We even had to have $100 deposit for incurred charges during our stay. That's not easy these days. We're both homeless and live in shelters and decided to have a little getaway by ourselves.

Easy on/off access to I-15. Comfortable, well appointed, clean room. Quiet.

A number of “vagrants” seemingly under the influence of unknown substances were hanging around the front entrance and rear parking lot contributing to a feeling of “insecurity” for oneself and vehicle. Desk manager said it was nothing to be concerned about. In the end, No harm was done.

Location was good in mid of downtown, room was enough big for 1 bed & it was also clean, it also have lift going up & down from 4 floor.

They have rug in the room, which I didn't like specially in Covid situation because it's not possible to clean rug properly between check-in & checkout & it remains dirty which of course not visible from eyes. They didn't have breakfast as mentioned here on booking.com, after asking with them, they started but then due to safety reason they stopped but that information should be updated on booking.com that breakfast is not available now a days.
