SpringHill Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown

The location, cleanness, breakfast, the room was amazingly big for the price I paid, I didn’t expected that at all, the pool was so relaxing, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Our entire party were able to find something to enjoy with the included breakfast. All the staff (at the front desk, the cleaning crew, the maintenance staff, and the kitchen staff) were happy to help immediately with solutions to each question and concern.The included pool and hot tub were constantly available and clean. The little kitchen area was much larger than other hotels and conveniently located in a separate area from the sleeping and bathroom facilities which we really appreciated. We are excited to bring food to grill the next time we come since the grill was also available and clean. The bed that folds out of the sleeper couch was very comfortable and staff was happy to make sure we had additional bedding to easily use for the additional sleeping area.

There were sharp areas in the bottom of the pool that left our feet badly scratched up after our stay. The shared area where we sat for breakfast could use some additional seating because while there were areas where one or two could sit at breakfast, we experienced times when it was difficult to find a seat for our party.

location was perfect. Room was very clean and comfortable. I absolutley loved that there was water in the lobby. I think there were oranges in the water....so refreshing after driving for 5 hours.

We ended up at the Emergency room with my step mom and got back to the hotel at 2:45am we pulled the shade and closed the curtain but it was still so bright in the room it was difficult to get to sleep and then when the sun came up it was just as bright. We were hoping to be able to sleep in since we had to drive back to Saint George.

Like pretty much every Marriott property we’ve stayed at, the Springhill Suites SLC Downtown was clean and comfortable. But what really made our stay were the staff members we interacted with while there. I wish I had names, but the woman working the front desk when we checked in was kind and very knowledgeable. And the young lady who ran the bagged breakfast was very helpful and patient with all of the requests lobbed her way.

Pool is tiny, but that’s a nitpick.

We particularly liked the layout of the room. We stayed 5 nights so we spent a lot of time in our room too, and having a semi-separate living area was perfect. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good.

I was only disappointed that it seems the waffles were only for weekends. During the week it was replaced with oatmeal, that wasn't kept very hot.

Room was super spacious - loved the divide between the living area + two beds, giving extra privacy for the sofa bed... as a grown family of four road-tripping, this was especially appreciated. Room was modern, quiet and clean. Easy to get to, close to the freeway and ample parking spaces!

Of the handful of hotels/accommodations we stayed at, the staff wasn't the friendliest but they were still helpful and efficient. Breakfast was fine and glad they offered some type of hot breakfast, but felt it still lacking of options.

They were so accommodating when we called asking for extra supplies. Both a table and extra blankets. They were quick to help us at the door, and the place was very clean.

Breakfast took a long time with the process they have set up for COVID. But the workers were friendly so it took the edge off. We didn’t have anywhere to be so we were fine waiting.

Loved the location had an issue but bonnie was excellent in solving my issue. Breakfast was great. Kids enjoyed the pool and the sitting area outside. Our doordash brought our drink 1/4 less and just left it downstairs and they were so kind to provide us with drinks! Will recommend this place to my family and friends

The whole place was amazing! The cleanliness of the room and facility, easy access to the parking lot, the staff was super friendly.

The area it was located was a little too close to the homeless camps but with the growing number of homeless, it's not something that can be controlled. Other than that everything was great.

Staff was very friendly. Super clean facility
