We have been on the road about a month, visited about 20 states already and must have slept in at least 20 hotels … if you ever find yourself in Vermont you must try to stay here ….of all the hotels we stayed in this was the only one that made you feel like family and not a guest . They were the only ones that made home made muffins and if you are there when Erin makes her chocolate chip banana bread that is an extra treat. I heard her tell a guest when she was out of hard boiled eggs that she could scramble him one ( this was 5 minutes before breakfast was ending)who does that… the common room that was opened to all the guests made you feel like you were at a cousin’s house … the atmosphere was welcoming

Remote location Wonderful big communal area with Pool table, balcony, TV, Games, drinks and ice machine. Really nice to be able to eat our own food we had brought here. (It's miles from a restaurant so do come supplied or eat before you arrive). The decor in our room was tasteful. The breakfast was good. Lots of helpful leaflets and maps around.

The double bed was a bit too soft and saggy. There wasn't anyone to meet us when we checked in, but our keys were left out for us (very trusting!).

The breakfast was fine. Are the Owners aware that there are 2 documents in the rooms that describe the breakfast in conflicting terms? One document, covered in plastic describes " a full breakfast" while another paper document describes a "continental breakfast". So, when a guest only reads the first doc, it is a little surprising to go into the dining room and see only a continental breakfast. Perhaps correct the doc that is in plastic?

It was nice and clean and the view was great. Staff was sweet! Value was good for the area too.

Our room was hot. It is a heatwave, but we turned on the window unit and actually slept upside down on the bed so the air would blow on our faces and not toes. The stairs to get luggage up is very narrow and hard to do sneaking in after 10 pm with large case since we were on a 2 week road trip.

It was a great location, the room was very spacious and comfortable, and the view was great. It's more like a hostel, which isn't bad at all, because staff wasn't around. Though, there's a phone number to call in emergencies. The hot tub was very nice. The lounge was very comfortable. Pet friendly is awesome too when thinking about future visits.

It could have been better if the bar was open, I imagine that is because of restrictions or the season. The breakfast was very nice, muffins, waffles, bread and cereal but...it could have been a little more extensive.

Although it is an older building the room was updated with nice flooring, ceiling, and bath facilities. It wasn’t too far from Manchester, VT. The room was very clean and the AC was blasting. The setting itself is very tranquil and easy to locate.

I expected a little more from the breakfast, not much for protein or fresh fruit. Also although most guests were polite and did not disturb the quiet hours, if you are a light sleeper you might wake up to a door slam or heavy footed person.

This is a great Inn. Dan and Austin, Cole the dog, Skye and Erin are running a very friendly establishment. Dan and Austin have owned it a year and they have some very good ideas about how to develop the Inn further. Skye offered lots of good ideas of things to do locally and we enjoyed the walks he suggested. The Inn is also ideally located between Bromley and Stratton and will be ideal for skiers.

Excellent hotel for a stopover: large and clean rooms, various facilities to amuse yourself with in the evening (hot tub, pool table, huge television screen with Netflix). Caretaker is a very friendly and outgoing guy. Breakfast can be taken on a lovely outdoor terrace.

it has been difficult to contact the hotel over a power converter that we accidentally left in one of the rooms after checking-out. At the moment of writing we still don't know whether that converter has been found or not.

Great location, friendly staff, very clean! Our room was just right with excellent storage. Despite the tiny size of the bathroom, it didn’t feel cramped and water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with real maple syrup for the fresh waffles.

The parking lot is a bit small, but there weren’t many guests that night, so it worked out.

Loved the location, the hosts and the common area. We rented 2 rooms and beds in both of the rooms were comfortable. We traveled with 4 other families and were able to get together in the common area( plenty of activities). Every morning we really enjoyed their breakfast. The Inn is eco-friendly, they recycle and provide eco-friendly bath products.
