The location & free shuttle.

The room price I got through Booking.com somehow was different from the price on my final bill!!! It took a while for the staff @ the hotel, me, & a customer service representative @ Booking.com to sort it out. Annoying when we were in a hurry to check out & catch our flight. I still don’t understand how the mistake was made!!! By the way, I never know the hotel also charge tax on parking!!! It states $25/day for hotel guests. But it’s actually more, because of its tax! Wonder who’s tax? Booking.com please mark it on the hotel page @ your website!!!

Only one thing, no hooks! We had a suite with room for four. There was only one hook and it was in the bathroom. This was inconvenient and wasteful for drying towels. We traveled in the summer, so our jackets were light, but there was no place to hang coats and purses when entering the suite. I imagine this would be even more inconvenient in colder months. I know this is a common problem with hotels, but this place could really set themselves apart by providing a place to hang stuff. Not everything is so easy to hang on a hanger and the closet is too far into the suite for convenience. Seems like an easy thing to remedy!

The staff was very friendly, we also got an upgrade upon arrival which was appreciated. It was a quiet location about 10 min walk from the metro (there is a shuttle service though which is nice with bags). Room was a good size with a decently-sized kitchen. The breakfast was decent with a couple of warm options as well as breads, pastries, etc. Despite being close to a main road, the hotel is very quiet.

The extra roll-out bed was a bit small even for two kids. Room cleaning was on request, which we didn't realize until the very end, so during our 4-day stay, the soaps, shampoo, coffee, etc. didn't get restocked and the trash bins in the room weren't emptied. But we got extra things at the reception on request.

Breakfast was great. Lots of options! The front desk staff was super friendly and gave great recommendations/information. The hotel offered a free shuttle for transport to the metro station, Key Bridge or anywhere within an mile of the hotel that you wanted to go. We loved being near Georgetown (25 minute walk without the shuttle, 8 minute walk after shuttle drop off) and the downtown Rosslyn area offered a handful of restaurant options.

While breakfast was fabulous, the dinner options were just so-so. We ate at the hotel once, and the pizza we ordered was clearly frozen pizza. There are tons of restaurants nearby, so this shouldn't be an issue for most travelers, but I did want to mention it!

Rooms are exactly as pictured and better than expected. The staff are exceptional and will work hard to make sure your stay is wonderful. It was sparkling clean, and the breakfast was amazing. Waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt boiled eggs, pastries, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, 3 kinds of cereal, orange juice, apple juice, coffee, tea, etc..... there was something for everyone in our family. The housekeeping was very attentive and was incredibly accommodating. The hotel also has a shuttle straight to and from the metro every 30 minutes. We will be returning!

The lady at the buffet taking 5 minutes to scoop one single potato hash brown on to her plate. (Thank goodness the attendant intervened and took over doling out at the hot food station to help move along a large family that decided it was okay to hold up 30 hungry travelers because they want to stand around talking and piddling at the egg station.)

The hotel is beautiful. So are the rooms. It is within walking distance of some very nice sightseeing places (Roosevelt island, Georgetown, you can walk to the White house and the National Mall). It was very convenient for the place we had business with. Hotel is very clean. They have all the amenities one could need. Spacious rooms, dishwasher in the room, washing machine in the corridor guests can use. Clothes iron and an ironing board!! The scenery was nice. Beds and the chair were comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would go there again.

Fixed showers!!! Coming from Europe I am accustomed to holding a shower head in my hand and showering like that. I simply do not know how to shower using a shower that is fixed on a wall. That was quite a hassle for me. But I understand that is the common way showers are constructed in the US.

I stayed with the child for one night. The hotel is excellent! Very good soundproofing. The room is comfortable. The breakfast was quite pleasant. Everything is very clean and tidy. Car parking which is very convenient. 15 minutes to Washington by bus (we went to Spy Musem) very convenient. There is also a metro station next to the hotel. The front desk people are very nice and friendly! We were very satisfied. Next time we will stay only in this hotel.

The only thing I didn’t like when we had breakfast was that the tables were wiped with one rag, which had been used to wipe the chairs before, then they wiped the tables with the food on them and shook all the crumbs from the tables onto the floor. It was very unpleasant at this moment to continue breakfast, because I imagined that our table, at which we had breakfast, was wiped with the same dirty rag, probably. And why shake the crumbs off the tables onto the floor? It was very unpleasant. This was the only negative

The room was comfortable and quiet. I particularly loved the ceiling fan and comfort of the bed. The shower and shower products were great. Breakfast and the lobby and shop were great. Can’t say enough things. We just Ubered into DC and it was quick and easy. Such a better price on this side of the river. Garage was easy and much cheaper fee than in DC too.

No view but we were barely there so no problem

The fact that the entire staff was friendly and always there to help out. They had a shuttle that could take you to the Metro train or Safeway was also a very key perk that made the trip even more outstanding. The room was very pleasant, clean and spacious. If there wasn't so much to see and do, we would've been just happy staying indoors.

Nothing bad to say. Although the bar restaurant could've opened up a little sooner rather than later

Very clean and quiet

The mattress needs to be changed. I felt as if I were sleeping in a concavity, a big “depression” in the mattress, I could feel where the inner springs were located. Room was a bit dated. I stayed there as my father was being inurned at Arlington National cemetery in the morning. For as costly as the room was, parking should have been included.
