The building itself was OK, but the bed was super comfy, the staff were all very nice, and the location was prime! If you want a clean, comfortable place to sleep and aren't looking to hang out in the hotel this is definitely the spot for you. If you're looking to go on a vacation and hang out in a hotel probably not. It's absolutely ideal for tourists who are looking for a clean safe comfortable bed and nice shower, not for locals looking for a stay-cation.

Water was hot, free coffee, beds were comfy. Location is walking distance from the Rosslyn Metro.

Breakfast would be a nice addition at this hotel. There is a microwave in the room but no mug/cup/bowl/plate or silverware.

Decent hotel on the cheaper side for DC. Close(ish) to the metro which opens up the city. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable, although the air con was needed 24/7 to keep the room comfortable. Free coffee in the morning.

Had a lot of trouble connecting to the wifi, this took 3 or 4 days to resolve and was a network provider issue it seems. Be aware there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room and that there is no food available on site (and that you need to BYO cutlery etc if you don't always want to be eating out). It also took quite a long time to commute to my meeting in Crystal City so factor that in if on a work trip.

I booked this for a senior family member. -Fair location -Value, affordability for that city -Refrigerator and microwave in the room -Good reception personnel -There is a wall fan in the room apart from AC -Almost everything necessary for a good stay inside, regular cleaning -Ability to book without paying, easy cancellations and schedule changes

I saw people writing like "you get what you pay for at this place". Do people really think that more than a $100 a night (at this place) is considered cheap in any part of the world and, thus, can have some bad quality facilities? We should not strive for the image of "more cost = more quality", instead, we should force hotels to be more affordable and provide better value. Among others, there are some of the drawbacks such as: -No cafe, no place to cook meals if needed -VERY noticeable bad smell of toilet in the hall. Less noticeable in the room -Tea and coffee taken away after at noon from the hall for some reason -Glitching door card reader -The location, though in Arlington, but requires some walking to the transit.

Place was much better than some of the reviews suggested, certainly my room was very livable, good value for money - as someone who only needed somewhere to sleep and shower I'm happy I didnt pay more elsewhere. Location great, just a few minutes walk from Rosslyn metro/subway, only one stop away from central DC, good access to Arlington/Alexandria and a relatively short walk/cycle/Uber from Georgetown just over the bridge. Plenty of space and decent facilities in the rooms.

The place was dated in parts, but not unreasonably for the price point. Drinks vending machines on different floors seemed regularly sold out - not a big issue, but nice to be able to get a drink etc when needed.

The room, water pressure, and location were great. Lots of options nearby (Metro station, grocery store, Target, and plenty of restaurants within walking distance).

Despite having ice vending machines on each floor, none of them were working. The only place you could get ice was in the lobby. There were signs on each of the vending machines; they weren't working the entire week we were there. I'm not sure if this is the current, permanent protocol.

room was larger than expected, nice amenities in the microwave and fridge, bed was very large and super comfortable, everything was clean, shower pressure was very strong perhaps almost too strong, nice to have ironing board and iron, very friendly staff who were very helpful, great location if youre looking to be in DC but dont want to pay extortionate prices as the metro is very close, and there are bike stations very nearby and its a short cycle into the city

only thing that was perhaps missing was some sort of lounge or room that you could use to work or spend some time

Genuinely great service throughout our stay. It was a cheap hotel, and we got what we paid for, but the front desk was always manned and throughout the stay they were honest about what to expect and perfectly courteous. I never felt surprised, which is what I worry the most about in cheaper hotels. Everything was very clean and everything worked well. Parking was free and it was an easy walk to the metro. No breakfast but the coffee was good and the water tasted better than any other water we had in DC, which was impressive. We left our jackets there on accident, and they not only kept the jackets but were extremely willing to work with us in getting them back through the mail.

The elevators were a bit slow, the bed wasn't heaven, and you could smell how hard the heater was working staying in the area in January, but nothing gross or remotely a deal breaker.

Location is ideal for sightseeing in Arlington and for getting into DC, as it's within walking distance of metro stops and Arlington Cemetery/Iwo Jima memorial. Rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We appreciated that there was a mini fridge and microwave in the room. On-site parking and wi-fi are free.

All hotel lodging in the DC metro area is expensive, so, comparatively, this hotel was at the lower end price-wise. However, for nearly $200/night, you'd expect more of the little things, like coffee service available outside of 6 - 9 AM, coffeemakers (or even just plastic water cups) in the room, and a continental breakfast. It was very no-frills.

Good location, subway station very close. You can walk to the monuments by crossing Arlington Cemetery, there is free parking. walking to rosselin metro 1/4 of a mile you pay $2.50 dollars per person and you get to the capitol, white house museums etc, and the same back to the hotel for the same price and if you take the car you will pay parking between $5 and $10 per hour"

in four nights and one day no cleaning service in the room
