So very clean. Our room was spotless. Staff at front desk was friendly.

Breakfast was bad. Stayed 2 nights. Breakfast first morning there was no coffee ready. Eggs are powdered or rehydrated. Sausage was microwaved. Second morning they were out of creamer. When I got there at 8:00am Sunday another guest stated I hope you not hungry because that is all the eggs left. There was not even enough for another guest. I told thanks but they were so bad I would just have a bagel. If you go bagels, waffles or cereal would be your best bet. I will say that a clean room and friendly staff trump the breakfast, but a good breakfast would have made it a 10 all they say.

The room was nice and clean. Big tv with decent cable also had microwave and mini fridge. The ac/heat worked great. Was not short on any supplies needed (such as towels, toilet paper ect.) They have free breakfast which was nice, could make your own waffles, had croissants, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, eggs, sausage and juice. The man at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful and answered any questions or concerns I had. I saw other reviews about how the hotel is in a difficult spot and hard to find. Well it’s really and truly not, all you have to do is follow your gps and I promise you will not miss the hotel lol.

The only thing I did not like was when I first got there I used the bathroom and it wouldn’t flush. I let the front desk know and they gave me a plunger and it did work but I just felt like I should not have been put in that situation in the first place but again after that everything was perfect. Also another thing I didn’t like was when I used the phone in the room to call the front desk it never worked, which that isn’t a really big deal for me just something i noticed.

We didn't make the breakfast until 15 minutes before it closed so we can't speak to that much. But it looks like it would have been nice had we had more time. We absolutely loved the beds! They were so comfortable and the bedding was superb! I'd like to have it on my own bed at home! Everything was nice and clean and the staff was professional and friendly. The room was attractive and quiet!

The only thing I noticed that was missing were drawers for clothes and there wasn't a pen and/or paper for notes. This was also the first time I stayed in a hotel that didn't have a bible. Not a complaint, just an observation. Lots of places I've stayed also has an envelope to leave a tip for the cleaning staff and you didn't have one. I don't know if that's policy or just a slip-up.

Staff are wonderful, very helpful and accommodating. Comfortable and clean. I like their policy regarding attending to a person's room: they don't bother you until you request service or until day 3 if staying more than 4. Happy they had guest laundry and that it was well-maintained.

Awkward to get to due to the way the streets run and heavy traffic if one is not familiar with the area. The trick is to continue up to Hydraulic and come back down to where the hotel is.

The breakfast was awesome and included hot prepared foods as well as make your own waffles, breakfast cereals, muffins, fruit, and yogurt. The rooms were modern, well furnished, comfortable beds and nice bedding. The bathrooms were well stocked with linens when we arrived versus the normal of getting two towels and one washcloth and having to go to front desk to get an adequate number of linens. The staff were very friendly. We never once needed for anything during our whole visit.

Nothing. Everything was absolutely perfect.

The hotel was clean and did not have any bad odors. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. That really makes a difference when staying at a hotel. Tiyell was working the night we arrived. We walked in and got a room right away. He was very professional and had a nice attitude and demeanor.

I bought a gold peak tea from the coolers and after taking a big drink and nearly spitting it out, I saw that it had expired in Feb 2023. I was not happy!!

Everyone at the Front Desk was very friendly and professional. The room was very clean, smelled good and was comfortable.

There were no facial tissues in the room, and housekeeping did not speak English. The breakfast area did not have spoons for several days (hard to eat yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, etc.). Hard to communicate with housekeeping.

I liked the price better than other places I checked in Charlottesville. It was clean and comfortable, except my husband did not like the pillows. They were fine to me.

It is extremely difficult to get out of the parking lot if you are making a left turn, which we often were. It is a congested area. Wish there was a way to a traffic light.

Staff was very friendly. Room was spacious, clean and as asked away from the elevators. The hotel is ideal for visiting Monticello and the cozy city center, and there's plenty of shops and restaurants around.

Doors were banging really hard, something should be done about it, as it awoke me at 4AM .

Listen, the staff at this place have been amazing! They are super friendly adding to the comfortable atmosphere! They have a little of everything for breakfast, so everyone in our group was able to have something they liked. I would definitely recommend this place!

The pool was not currently open due to issues with storms that have been in the area. This was out of their control and hopefully it will be open on my next trip.
