Historical hotel , beautiful pictures in lobby, Large clean room , good breakfast , with in walking distance to UVA hospital. Staff was nice. I liked that the staff text you and make sure that everything is going good for you. Staff member Lenora is very nice and Janice also. but shouldn't have to pay for parking when they have their own parking lot.

I did not like that you had to pay for parking when the hotel has there own parking lot . Just like any other hotel you parked at the hotel. that didn't make any sense to me at all.. but I paid it because had no choice already booked room and couldn't cancel it. would have lost money. hotel is expensive . It cost me $496.00 for 2 nights. that is a lot of money for 2 nights and $ 40.00 dollars of that was for parking.

How about posting the hours of operation of the breakfast service on the doors? I tried to get served but by the time I arrived, the lady at the reception desk told me that breakfast service had stopped. So i didn't get served. Also, for short people like me, getting into the beds proved difficult. The next time I stay at a Hampton Inn & Suites I will bring a Stanley step stool to help me get into your ridiculously high beds.

Hotel clean and very comfortable; breakfast good. Close to UVA hospital main reason for stay, perfect for walking to and from. But wow....train proximity not good. Thursday night @ 1:30 am ..bells ringing, trains moving for over an hour..yikes!

front desk staff was a bit occupied with seemingly “non-work” activities, but they were friendly & accommodating….our room phone was broken (receiver cord was damaged/broken) which we consider a safety issue, yet maintenance staff didn’t care & did not fix claiming “whole phone or main line would need to be rewired”…we could tell it just needed a new “plug-in type” receiver (handset to phone base) connection wire…it was not fixed during our stay

The location was in walking distance of the main campus, the Corner, and the Downtown Mall. The facilities were comfortable and clean.

The advance information said that masks were required in shared indoor spaces, but this was not the case when we got there. Transmission rates were (are) high, so this would have made the stay seem safer. The breakfast was a bit, meh, like you could survive from it, but wouldn't want to go out of your way to eat it.

Great location for UVA college visit. Very helpful with breakfast included. Helpful staff that gave us directions to our destinations in the city.

Thin walls - assigned us an adjoining room with neighbors who were up late and talking loudly.

Location excellent. Cleanliness of room and bathroom superb. Great shower pressure! Fantastic coffee (very unexpected).

It’s a chain, so not much charm… A little pricey, but it’s Charlottesville near the corner…

Nice and clean hotel, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Liked all the soaps, and hair products in the rooms.

Room cards didn’t work after 11pm to get into the building, needed to call for help

the hotel I was staying at in Charlottesville was a great hotel and it was close to restaurants, shops Amtrak station and close to Football Stadium too and it was close to Monticello also. great breakfast every morning

The beds and the pillows were the most comfortable I have ever experienced in a hotel or airbnb! In fact, I don’t write reviews, but had to because I was so happy!
